I think that is Thumper from the Disney movie "Bambi"

Just copy it as a gif onto your desktop, then go to the little Down arrow on your tool bar above. Go to uploads and choose that image, hit upload and it'll show up in your file. Click the picture and it'll give you three choices. The bottom one will have the avatar code. Copy that, then paste it in avatar section under "account settings" (you'll have to hit the arrow again to get to that bar above.
Hit "submit" and you're done!

Save it to your desktop, and reopen it with paint, enlarge it and you should be fine, though there are more tech minded folks that may provide better advice.
