I really expect a last minute solution, but as we all know things go on exactly as they always have right until the point that they don't.

Understandably, cuts have to be made somewhere. Why not halt all payments to government military contracts that involve developing new weapons systems. Surely we have enough, and surely preventing people from obtaining food only strains homeland societal issues.

The President needs to come out and ask people to donate to the food banks to help the country. It would in the short term alleviate the situation. Stores could set up a giving program where you could elect to donate some items to the food banks in your area. But leadership is about creating a new path forward, not about simply bending over to lack of money. There are other ways to get people fed, and I know for certain if they want they could galvanize Americans to giving to food banks while the government is shut down.

Enlist the celebrities, the news networks, and the churches support and surely people will supply more food then is needed. But it will not happen without leadership. And our representatives have none. The only hope is for the President to come out and acknowledge the situation, and provide a clear plan to help our neighbors.

If people are starving and homeless they may want to turn up to these camps if there is promise of a hot meal, shelter and maybe a "shower".

It only starts in the Us, it will be worldwide afterwards. Remember this is the NWO. What happens to one happens to all. The US will be the example set, the wild west tamed and the rest will fall into line and submit easily.

Jupp, that would be awesome. But its not going to happen, right? Because, that would be socialism. Or marxism. Or communism.

But never, ever anything like that samaritan from the bible. Because, that is socialism, etc. (see above).

PS: It says that the USDA is telling states to stop sending out food stamps, but no where could I find a mention of our president, the white house or executive branch.

Uh...the USDA is part of the executive branch.
