This was the predicted trump card that would be played.

The POTUS is throwing this back to Congress saying he will not negotiate saying, this is Congress responsibility.

The debt clock was frozen over 4 months ago.

Is this all part of the plan to bring down the USA?

I couldn't be more disgusted with it all.

I hope this thread does not devolve into a blame game thread thad goes nowhere. We have some good minds at ATS who can criticially think and perhaps find a solution that the players in Washington seem to be incapable of at this point in time.
