Advent Optical mouse battery replacement?

i was using an Advent mouse model M312 for a while and battery started to run out.
i cannot find how to replace it as there is no catch to lift the cover off. anyone have any ideas?
im using a logitech one now but seems crazy i cant find the catch for the other mouse ....

There should be a hatch on the underside, move the thin strip toward the right side and it should flip open.

On the other mouse and any I have used there is always a small hatch. Only one is to switch it on and off so I am a bit stumped aat this small problem. Can't understand how there is no other one to change the battery

Click on the rightmost image and there's an image of how to remove the cover. There's a slim slot you can squeeze back and then open it.

You were exactly right! Went straight to the mouse and 2 seconds later it was open so that I can replace the battery! How crazy and stupid am I in missing that? Just shows I have never changed the battery on that mouse since I bought it
