im only guessing here but to me obesity seems to be more prevalent in the unemployed compared to employed.

According to Gallop, you are spot on. Gallup

But, I think they get their stats from polling??? I have also found other sources that make the same claim, however those sources are Huffington Post, NY Times, and they both link back to Gallup. I would be interested in finding a legitimate study with this statistic though.

the UK NHS states:

What is driving the epidemic? The underlying causes of the UK’s (and most of the developed world’s) obesity epidemic are not addressed in the report, but there is a large consensus of expert opinion that the following factors are responsible: There is easy access to cheap, high-energy food that is often aggressively marketed to people. People’s lifestyles and jobs are much less active than in the past and many leisure activities such as watching television, playing video games and browsing the internet are usually done sitting down. People drive or use public transport and walk a lot less than they used to.

emphasis added.

UK NHS obesity stats

stats are from 2011, probably quite outdated, due to the increase in unemployment in the last 2 years
which generally is saying unemployed but is also including desk jobs.

He answered that in the AMA thread. He doesn't know, and that isn't his focus of investigation.

Should have kept Tom on.

That guys knows his stuff. It's one thing to know about the events and what happened, but when you can remember all the dates and names of witnesses and the locations that says something in my book.

Great interview and great questions.

I don't think we are going to get to it Jim.

We may do it next week as a carry over.
