Is cloud seeding chemtrails?

A resounding NO is the answer.

For those who aren't quite sure of the difference, here it is.

Cloud seeding is the method of introducing silver iodide into an existing cloud in order to hopefully produce rain. The kicker is, the cloud has to be there already, and it has to be already saturated with moister.

Cloud seeding is a form of Weather modification. It is not 100% in that it will produce rain, but it's percentage is good enough that people still do this practice.

There are two types of cloud seeding, Ground Based and Ariel cloud seeding.

Contrails are lines in the sky left from an airplane flying at or above about 25,000 Feet. Not all planes will leave trails, and trails will form based on the conditions at that altitude. Contrails can last for seconds, minutes, or hours, based on the conditions.

Chemtrails are a conspiracy and to date the only proof that exists for them is patents and pictures of contrails that are mis-identified. They are much like Bigfoot in that regard. They might exist, but all the evidence says they don't.

Almost all civilized countries do this. I even linked a company in the US that you can hire to seed clouds in your area. My point is, this is a normal practice. It's not any part of geo-engineering, or the chemtrail conspiracy.

Hence, why this thread was written....

Might I suggest that next time you want to try and prove something about chemtrails it is best to not use a TankerEnemy video.

In case you don't know about him he, is a prolific youtube crap spreader.

I think the problem arising when those who haven't looked into the subect assume that cloud seeding = making clouds grow. Perhaps an understandable error in the first instance, but failure to then check the facts or, worse, getting shirty (as, I'm afraid, some have) when the facts are presented by others, is inexcusable. IMO.

Whether cloud seeding actually works as those who sell the process (it's big business in the USA) claim is, of course, a whole different matter!

(oh, and before anyone starts, cloud seeding did not cause the 1952 Lynmouth Flood Disaster)

The whole thing that Germany "admitted" to is dropping chaff during a military exercise. Chaff is specifically designed to confuse radars, which may be a good thing for the military if they are trying to confuse the enemy's radar. However, chaff is not a way of modifying the weather -- nor does it have ANYTHING to do with cloud seeding.

By the way, the ability of chaff to be visible on radars is not a secret, and it has been around for decades. "Tanker Enemy" is basically misrepresenting what is going on here.

The other point with chaff is that - as was the whole point in this Germancase - it shows up on weather radar (the complaint was that military chaff had produced false readings on the radar - not good when you are using the radar to determine where it's raining!)

So, if chaff = chemtrails then it means we can all see chemtrails simply by monitoring weather radar And ever weather enthusiast in the world would be seeing them every time they occur ....... which appears to be very very very rarely.

What is sad, is this thread will die a quick death, and in the next few weeks, we will have multitudes of folks afraid to send their kids outside because they don't understand basic science and confuse basic terms.

To hell with education, embrace ignorance.
