I was reading this article

In it is a thought out conversation between two fictional characters discussing Syria.

So it looks like we’re going to bomb Assad.

Good.

Really? Why good?

Did you see the videos of those kids? I heard that ten thousand people were gassed. Hundreds of them died. This time, we have to do something.

Yes, I saw the videos.

And you don’t want to pound the # out of him?

I want to pound the # out of him.

But you think we shouldn’t do anything.

I didn’t say that. But I want you to explain what we’re going to achieve by bombing.

We’re going to let Assad know that chemical weapons are over the line. There’s a reason they’ve been illegal since Verdun or whenever.

Except when Saddam used them against the Kurds—we knew, and we didn’t say a word.

Its a breif enough conversation that I strongly recommend a read through, Anyway I was curious if the article had gotten traction...

AND low and behold, BECK a liberal hating nut, loved the article and is all over it...

Beck said he believes the average American did care about the mass graves in Iraq, and they care about the Coptic Christians and the Syrians.

I guess disappointment will abound for doom porn lovers everywhere.

I must say I'm very disheartened to read this. I loved that I hated beck and everything he said. Now I have to admit I agree with him on something? Jeepers creepers the end times may be closer than I thought.

Most hate Beck because CNN, ABC, Huffpo, Wapo, etc told them to.
Listen to him a few weeks and you'll see he isn't so bad. Sure, no one agrees
with everything someone else says,but I think Beck means well.

This is based on knowing for a fact that Assad actually did give out the order for a Chemical attack, and at this stage it seems somewhat unlikely? There has been no investigation, proven guilty before anything else.

That said, if it's clear that the SAA did indeed do the attack with purpose then striking key targets wouldn't be too far out of the question, but strictly limited to airstrikes.
