Banking Intern Worked to Death

I think there may be a twist to this story deserving its own thread. This is a complex matter and demands some patience in order to understand but it may very well connect to:

- Glenn Greenwald
- Michael Hastings
- Julian Assange
- Barrett Brown
- ProjectPM
- WikiLeaks

and much much more, please bear with me...

Fair Rabbit Hole Notice: WAY DOWN !

According to his biography on the social media platform Seelio, Erhardt said he was naturally inquisitive

Bank of America’s work practices questioned after intern who worked 12-hour days found dead

This is my attempt of a summary of what I think Moritz Erhardt's death may be connected to:

WikiLeaks at some point had a 5GB file of dirt on Bank of America. BofA hired several companies to discredit and disrupt WikiLeaks and investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald (of NSA-leaks/Edward Snowden fame). Those companies in turn got investigated by Michael Hastings' friend Barrett Brown through ProjectPM. Part or all of the WikiLeaks data on BofA got destroyed. In January Hastings claimed to be working on a story about Barrett Brown the importance of which he described by using the words "be ready to have your mind blown". Hastings had planned on interviewing Barrett Brown in custody in late June. June 18: Hastings disappears in a fiery car crash...

Some of WikiLeaks' Bank of America data destroyed

Bank of America Employing Three Intelligence Firms to Dismantle WikiLeaks

One must go to tech blogs to discover that when WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange announced they would bring down a major U.S. bank, Bank of America‘s law firm Hunton and Williams hired three security firms to take down WikiLeaks.

The three firms are HBGary Federal, Palantir Technologies and Berico Technologies.

The Strange Case of Barrett Brown Amid the outrage over the NSA's spying program, the jailing of journalist Barrett Brown points to a deeper and very troubling problem.

WikiLeaks had claimed to possess a large cache of documents belonging to Bank of America. Concerned about this, Bank of America approached the United States Department of Justice. The DOJ directed it to the law and lobbying firm Hunton and Williams...

...In November 2010, Hunton and Williams organized a number of private intelligence, technology development and security contractors—HBGary, plus Palantir Technologies, Berico Technologies and, according to Brown, a secretive corporation with the ominous name Endgame Systems—to form “Team Themis”—‘themis’ being a Greek word meaning “divine law.”...

...The HBGary hack may have been designed to humiliate the company, but it had the collateral effect of dropping a gold mine of information into Brown’s lap. One of the first things he discovered was a plan to neutralize Glenn Greenwald’s defense of Wikileaks by undermining them both. (“Without the support of people like Glenn, wikileaks would fold,” read one slide.)
