The Janczewski family is fighting the local school district in Rose, Michigan after it emerged that a male teacher molested their 8th grade son and then — unbelievably — six other teachers spoke out against the 15-30 year sentence the man received.

Why did the other teachers defend one of their own even though he admitted to molesting one of his students?

“Neal has plead (sic) guilty for his one criminal offense but he is not a predator,” Harriet Coe reportedly wrote. “This was an isolated incident. He understands the severity of his action and is sincere in his desire to make amends…”

A one time incident and he isn't a predator. Yeah, right. Every predator starts somewhere.

The article goes on to say,

Beck said he doesn’t think he has seen a family “kicked in the teeth” as much as theirs, but his charity — Mercury One — will do what it can and at least rebuild his garage.

The parents of the victim who took a stand against the teachers defending the pedophile? Their garage and mobile home was torched. In the middle of the night. With them inside the house sleeping. They could have died.

So to hell with it. We might as well just offer our children up to the government and be done with it.

WEST BRANCH — When John and Lori Janczewski attended the sentencing for former Rose City teacher Neal Erickson July 10 who pleaded guilty to first degree CSC against their son, they thought they would finally receive some closure.

But at that sentencing, they found several current West Branch-Rose City teachers, as well as a current board member, seemingly showing their support of Erickson. And it was there they also learned of 10 letters supporting him that were given to Judge Michael Baumgartner, several of which were written by current teachers in the district.

My wife and I are sick and sad at the support they gave a CSC 1 child molester,” John Janczewski told the Herald in an interview July 18. “We’re very angry. We’re happy with the sentence (Erickson) got. But we’re very angry and not happy with the support of a board member and retired teacher. The message they’re sending our kids is it’s OK to molest a child, I believe, or that they’ll turn an eye to it.”

At this moment in history - teachers molesting children has become something we turn our heads to instead of something to stand against.

I don't understand why parents would still allow their children to attend that school. My kids would already be transferred to a different school system.

Good thing the NSA is doing their job and we can demand at some point to see all of these pedo defenders online habits and if they are directly linked to pedo stuff too.

Yeah, but in this case? They’ll check the computer history of the parents and arrest them for having child ‘porn’ on their computers - the child ‘porn’ pictures of their own kids at the beach - in their swimsuits.

This is just too much. If I hadn't of read the story on a few different news sites I might not even have believed it. Teachers standing up to protect the pedophile. My God what a message that send to the kids. It's gross. Just gross.

Teachers Unions in a union powerhouse state like Michigan, could be the reason why this teacher is getting this support from her peers. Another reason for this teacher support could, because the school system is vulture's nest for pedos and satanist.

The stories also keep bringing up that this could possibly bankrupt the city/county, because of teachers union counter suits (That makes them the bad guys 2x's over IMO). Hmmm, it seems to always boil down to money, not doing what is right.

And how the hell would they know if he was a serial abuser or not, unless they had prior knowledge of his perversions? And if they did...how the hell was he allowed to be a teacher?

Let's not forget, this criminal DID sexually abuse a young child, is that somehow lessened because he has only been caught once?

The other teachers and the board member trying to minimise what the abuser did, ought to be investigated FULLY...there may well be a paedophile ring with that school as the focus.

So, these supporters of this pedophile/molester think that if the male teacher had molested a female student, the outrage would not have been as strong. They are angry because they "see" bigotry against homosexuals. Sometimes I think people are trying to be so open-minded that their brains have fallen out.

The town counsel’s weighing the victim, his family, the 6 teachers First Amendment rights, and the cost of the whole shebang.

Though I have no problem coming to a conclusion I think is right? I don't envy these people their jobs.

Nope, it's not about pedos, but rather the union. They are circling the wagons because this family is directly assualting them as far as they are concerned.

If the union had any sense at all, they would have tossed the pedo under the bus immediately. Chances are that if they had done so, all this would have been settled out of court.

But no...they had to defend the guy and by doing so are now culpable as well.

Sorry but you cant fire someone from their career for expressing an opinion on a particular case or a person involved in the trial, however distasteful that opinion is.
This fad of calling out for vengeance on people that do something you dont agree with is getting out of hand, people act like spoiled little brats.
