I would submit that since consciousness is not a physical attribute it can never be denied its freedom. They could win the battle of physical freedom
but they could never begin to control the freedom of one's thought. And it is that thought that controls the physical world.
History is replete with failed controls.
Sorry, let me prove otherwise.
Abortion not eighty years ago was viewed for what it is - deliberate murder.
How did the population eighty years later come to view it as not murder?
By the endlessly repeated mantras "a baby is not life, it is a clump of cells, it has no soul, abortion a healthcare right of women, it is not
murder".
The unborn baby meanwhile never changed. Our perception of it did.
It's no different than how a stage show hypnotist can get a volunteer to open his physical eyes and see a naked audience that twenty minutes earlier
was seen as fully clothed through those same eyes. The mind perceives largely based upon thoughts, and like the volunteer, now sees abortion as not
murder - because it heard and ingested those beliefs in their mind.
"Freedom of conscience" is non-existent in an age of mass media. We have not heeded the command to guard our minds and today are nations who reason
from the garbage of lies and falsehoods given to us by those controllers. Does that volunteer on stage have any "freedom of conscience" when his
eyes no longer see what I see? Of course not. Does the person who believes that abortion is not murder have any "freedom of conscience" when her
eyes no longer can see the death of a baby? Of course not. This extends to everything. Your "freedom of conscience" doesn't exist until you can see
reality around you - clearly, honestly and without the bias of men. Until then, your conscience belongs to them. If they want you to view
homosexuality as a lifestyle instead of the deathstyle that it is, for example, you have no choice until your conscience is governed by above.
Freedom of thought. What do you reason with? Thoughts and beliefs placed there by others. As such, those who control the words and images of mass
media are your masters. Whatever they want you to conclude, they merely manipulate the storylines, movie titles, dialogues, newscasts and your
emotions - and from those things you reason and reach THEIR conclusion. Not your own, theirs. Please tell me, where is freedom in this process? How
can people be on these boards asserting that we as a species are becoming enlightened and evolved, and yet they are blind to the molested children,
the mega prisons filled with murders, rapists, thieves, and drug addicts, the neighbourhoods with bars on their windows, the 4,000 children dying each
day because their parents senselessly slaughter them, the local methadone clinics, the gangs terrorising neighbourhoods, the indoctrination that is
euphemistically called "mandatory education", the millions dying from aids by pursuing deathstyles which give it to them.....please tell me where is
any freedom of thought when the vast majority have become simply what they were taught? We reason with our minds. Those minds are filled with beliefs.
Those beliefs largely come from mass media. It is the equivalent of the 'Bible' for the new world. If it tells them homosexuality is good and all
who oppose it are bad, this becomes their belief. All conclusions that are drawn from those minds are only as good as the content put into them. Yet,
they still believe that they have "freedom of thought". No they don't, their lives are governed by men whom they don't even question as to
possible motives.
Jesus Christ promised to free us. He is speaking of the mind. If your mind cannot be raised above to look down upon the world to view it as it really
is, you are left with no choice but to view it from earth's perspective which is given to us by five companies which produce 90% of the content you
read and watch. Therein lies the power to control your thoughts which you reason with and draw conclusions from. As that same media has taught
westerners to reject the Bible as 'mind control' it has merely made them all, hypocrites.
