"once in a lifetime" Usain Bolt image - wow!

i saw this image recently captured

i was looking at his calm face...and proud form...as he won the race running at over 10meters a second!!!

thinking i had my fill from this wonderous image of an elite athelete....i glanced at the top of the image and noticed what this image was in fact all about

the gods love this man... lol....

the image should simply be labelled...

"BOLT!"

One of my favorite quotes of all time is:

"Whenever I open the newspaper, I immediately turn to the sports section. While the other sections of the paper discuss human failure, the sports section announces human triumph."

This photograph epitomizes that statement; both in the marvel that is Usain Bolt and the photographer who took this amazing photo.

That is one grand photo,stunning.And what are the odds of the fastest man on the planet having a family name like Bolt??? I had to google this-but apparently yes-Usain St. Leo Bolt I must show my daughter this photo,she adores him,thanks for sharing

Could be that the picture was taken after the finish. Sprinters often do a slow down stride around the bend. He doesn't seem to be in full sprint in this photo. Also the photogs in the background are trying to keep up. No way they even attempt this if the runners were in an all out sprint. Very cool photo!
