Diary of a caveman (Neanderthal)

I am currently writing a totally absurd fiction in which I highlight the rise and fall of caveman culture and its philosophic quandaries with the world around It. I'm trying to use analogies of our current world culture for suggestions, and reasons for which his plights have been going on since the dawn of time.

I feel the ability to relate to a most primitive structure of governance and our own would be a useful analogy to the worlds current situation.

Any way I could use what's going on in our current system would be greatly appreciated.

How about, power struggles, like using elite alpha males as an analogy for a power hungry government and the similarities between the two??

You're going to need an antagonist, so I think that sounds like a good idea.
