"Austerity" European style is them taking money from your bank account and giving it to the banks. It's removing your elected officials and putting unelected bankers in power instead!
American style is just keep printing more money for the banks and let inflation eat up the wealth. Divert taxes from programs that actually help people and use the money to help corps and gov'ts.
neither of these are what I would call Conservatism..
It's a merger of state and corporate power, fascism!
