This to me looks so cool, but on the other hand kind of disturbing that we can't escape these signals.Well I guess if you built a Faraday cage you could, maybe in the future new houses will have this option.

Wireless internet. This wonderful hidden energy all around all of us that connects us to people and then websites around the world. But what if you could basically see wireless internet? Exactly what would it be like? That is precisely the question artist Nickolay Lamm has wanted to answer. With the help of Astrobiologist M. Browning Vogel, he launched a number of images representing just what wi-fi would look like if it turns out to be visible to the human eye. Wifi is an energy field that is transmitted as waves. The waves have a certain height, distance between them and travel at a certain speed. The distance between wifi waves is shorter than that of radio waves and longer than that of microwaves, giving wifi a unique transmission band that can't be interrupted by other signals. This image shows an idealized wifi data transmitted over a band that is divided into different sub-channels, which are shown in red, yellow, green and other colors.

Some of these pictures are quite beautiful. Like legit.....

I gave you a SnF, for them alone, although the premise is nice.

What, your avatar and background?
Just teasing.

Very neat, thanks for providing such awesome pics too. I try not to think of all the electromagnetic junk all over me...especially since there is still debate as to whether it's harmless or harmful.

To think we're also bombarded with radio and cell phone waves, and who knows what else? You have to question whether any of these waves have any effect on the human body. I guess it's the price we pay for the convenience of technology.

Ticks me off cause I don't use a cell phone never will after that dam video I saw,but I still get the negative effects,if any.

Idk what's more disturbing the act or the fact they are so amused by it. -_-

The Matrix had it right "ignorance is bliss."

Just so you know the poporn video is a hoax.

knowyourmeme.com...

After several YouTube videos began circulating the web in 2008, the phenomenon was debunked as a viral marketing campaign for Bluetooth technology company Cardo Wireless.

We had a lady in a new office once ask me if the IT rack in the corner, a 6 ru box but with loads of flashing lights, ask why she was sitting near it considering how dangerous they are.

I had no face...

LOL I'm still not getting one.As for the rack, there is some EMR given off by them all electrical devices give it off.Let's hope it's not cumulative

We're surrounded by all kinds of things that we cannot see, and many are naturally occurring too. I don't see this as being any different to any of the naturally forming things that make up our environment.

But I do also think that we are susceptible to these things too, because we have evolved to exist in this world.

Something that really interests me is how we might evolve in the future alongside all of this information being transmitted all around us. For example, we now have the beginnings of the technological ability to create images from the signals coming from the Human mind. Surely there is a reversal of this at least plausible in the future, where we might create images within our minds from the electrical and magnetic pulses surrounding us?

Some might even argue that this is what ghosts are. Perhaps some have evolved to release a signal from their mind (such as in heightened emotional states) which then remains fixed in place and time, like a memory carved in the stone or embedded in the earth of a place, then someone comes along a decade later and their mind is able to tune into that signal and translate it?

It's all fascinating.

Anyone here with Synesthesia, does anything you see look anything like what is pictured ?

Kind of curious about that always wondered what they see.

Seems the debate is over. WiFi = bad for you.

Was against the law before Reagan, wonder why?
Those frequencies were considered harmful to humans.

"Wonder why"? Right so... the peak of human scientific knowledge was 30 years ago?

Doctors and sports superstars used to do cigarette ads and endorse smoking in the 50s... am I suppose to say "wonder why" now?

Your "wonder why" is actually called "ignorance of their time".

Here is a good documentary on the subject for those interested..
documentarystorm.com...

In the mid 80s fewer than 3% of the US population was using cellphones. Today, a little over twenty years later, that percentage has gone up to close to 100%. By the time most people reach the age of 19 or 20, they will have been using a cellphone for about ten years.

The trouble with this is that most of us are clueless regarding the risks involved. RESONANCE is an eye opening documentary that reveals the harm of living in this ocean of man made wireless frequencies. The Earth has a natural frequency.

Research is showing that being exposed to it is integral to us because it controls our mental health, it synchronizes our circadian rhythms, and it aids our immune system to the extent that it improves our sense of wellbeing. That’s why going outside can make you feel so good!

However, mankind has submerged itself in an ocean of artificial frequencies that are drowning out the earth’s natural resonance. Something needs to be done. It’s up to us to study all the facts and become aware of the adverse effects of electromagnetic radiation. Only then will we be able to make the choice to take the necessary precautions.

Well that looks interesting , but I'm curious about the microwave signals coming from satellites , how do they look like and do they affect us in any way ?

Neat pictures indeed.

I'm very sensitive to EMF. Phones, laptops, iPads have a major effect on me, like right now. 20 minutes into using these devices or having it on me gives me major anxiety and overall agitation. I get out of the house and I'm fine feeling great. I come back home, log on ATS (using my iPad) and my anxiety hits again. These recent months I have been spending more time in nature than being around technology, reason why I don't post much as I used to.

I have been on my iPad for about an hour already. Side effects include...

High pitched ringing in ears (no I don't have tinnitus)
Anxiety
Root chakra over active ( survival instincts, adrenaline rush)

It's not a pleasant feeling in general and the effects are present only when I'm around such devices. I couldn't wait to hit reply cause I'm tripping out right now. I can even hear these electromagnetic fields and its giving me a headache.
