Ohio woman's sentence includes Christmases in jail

So instead of Driver License's she will be making License plates.

Makes perfect sense to me wonder if she will issue them to the illegals who are currently in 'lockup'.

Pretty sure there is a clause in the constitution (cruel and unusual punishment) to prevent power tripping judges from making up their own wacky sentences. not that any elected official pays any attention to the constitution. if he really wanted to make the punishment fit the crime he would have deported her to mexico.

It said she pled guilty...does that impact how creative a judge can get on sentence vs. the earned sentence of a lost trial and all that? I mean, is she giving up some of her ability to fight or complain about whatever gets thrown at her by the nature of her own plea?

It's a non violent crime, not like rape or murder or beating someone severely in a robbery. She should not be doing time, and if she has children or family, then anything like at Christmas time is punishing her children and depriving them of good family memories, the opposite of healing, in fact it makes the evil harshness spread into more souls.

what if one of the illegal immigrants that she legitimized was a violent criminal/fugitive of another country?

what if said criminal commits another violent crime in this country?

I wonder if they would have jailed a Muslim woman at ramadan?

I highly doubt it.......

Christians tend to not be so "explosive" over these issues.

The worst that will happen is someone will hold a fete or give out leaflets.
