Yip its earthquakes we are talking about and these 'specialists' have not predicted correctly once, but if you like keep on trust em in their
predictions.
All you need to know is simple can or can't science predict earthquakes? And if the answer is no then don't look to geonet/GNS etc for accurate
predictions as they don't make them.
Guessing is what they are doing and in the fact its not using scientific methods its fear mongering.
The thread OP said (after the big one did not happen)pointed out that all these strong /moderate earthquakes are not just aftershocks "
'aftershocks' from the main quake a month back" .
Don't listen to specialist fear mongering, instead enjoy every moment of your life as we never know how long any of us have. Live in a day & be in
the now.
