Detroit HiroShima Comparison Pic... Craziness!

Well I got home from work and heard Detroit is Filing for Bankruptcy which wasn't really a surprise but it got me thinking about various things. I live in Vallejo so I went through a decent Size city going Bankrupt and it gets bad quick so I feel some sympathy for the old/decent people that might be trapped there for whatever reason. I started checking for land out there because it's so cheap I can actually afford it when I had the Bright idea of googling Detroit Ghettto's to see what areas are to stay out of.
One of the Photos I came across was the Detroit Hiroshima Comparison photo.... I'm sure there's a thread somewhere or somebody has posted it before BUT I have never personally seen it and I figure there's a few people on here that haven't either so this is for those people.

My opinion of the image is.... As tragic as it looks there's still hope but there's going to be a lot more Cities Like this in America if things don't change in the next 10yrs. BUT WE the U.S. of America can Overcome anything if we Stand United, come whatever may...

I have seen similar pictures before online. They usually carry a pro-capitalist anti welfare and socialist theme. There is probably some truth in the pictures. However, we need to study the situations the people live in and see why they live in either pleasure or sorrow.

Those are cool, I never seen those images before either... I never really thought of the image in the link as an anti-anything but I can definitely see how that's where they came from. Thanks
