I'm fairly certain that God wasn't on the Zimmerman jury.
Just saying.

Edit to add:
I believe that the jury came to the right verdict. Justice was done.
But the jury was composed of humans.... not God.

You can use that same logic and ask yourself if he was there when Zimmerman was having his head beat in to the ground. Argue all you want. You would've defended yourself too.

Uh, no argument with the verdict, I actually agree with what they found.
I am just saying that he was tried by a jury, not God.
So this professor blaming God for being a white racist.... well, she must be goofy.

I seem to remember reading a theory somewhere that we are all descended from one woman, I think they call her "mitochondrial eve", and that they think she was black? I don't remember all of the details, and I don't know how plausible it is, but that kind of throws a wrench in her theory if God started out with a black person, eh?

Seriously, though, as long as she keeps her ignorant beliefs to herself, and does not voice them while teaching, I don't care what she believes.

I have to wonder how difficult it actually was for her to get her job. Some of the very progressive universities (and not so progressive) seem to work really hard at hiring minorities for teaching positions. For all you know, she may have been seen as a feather in their cap.

“God ain’t good all of the time. In fact, sometimes, God is not for us,” she wrote in the post. “As a black woman in an [sic] nation that has taken too many pains to remind me that I am not a white man, and am not capable of taking care of my reproductive rights, or my voting rights, I know that this American god ain’t my god. “As a matter of fact, I think he’s a white racist god with a problem. More importantly, he is carrying a gun and stalking young black men,” she added

So ... is she right? Is God a white racist with a problem? Or is she the one with a problem?
Or is she only half right ... God has a problem but he's not anti-black, he's really anti-humanity?
Considering how many people, of all races, are suffering on the planet, that could be.
Seems this woman has turned a blind eye to the sufferings of people of all races, not just her own.
Or is it something else?
