AGAIN I will say this for the slow ones on here, disagreeing with homosexuality does not make a person a homophobe. I fear no perverted homosexual therefore calling me or anyone like me a homophobe is just an inaccuracy of words.

Disagreeing with homosexuality does not make one a homophobe.
Disagreeing with "perverted homosexuals" does.

See the difference?

Nope it won't happen that way. With all the gay people away on an island there will not be anyone around to infect the minds of the straight people left. It is spreading like a disease. I about lost my damn mind when my son was sent to his counselor at school because he was confused about what they were trying to indoctrinate him with in his health book about homosexuality. The counselor (a gay man) tried to convince my son that his confusion was based on repressed homosexual feelings that he had along with obvious religious nutjob parents. Those of you on here familiar with my posting history should know that that did not fly with me. He no longer has his job and we will be going to our second court appearance in two weeks to have his credentials removed for good.
That is why your theory holds no water. You and others like you labor under the impression that 1. you are born that way, 2. more and more are being born that way, and 3. that it is right and just. Noone is born this way and there are no more people actually feeling homosexual feelings to begin with, it's a group of homosexuals pushing a perverted agenda. You are no longer happy with people accepting your abominous lifestyle, now you insist on recruiting and perverting those around you.

No I don't. A phobia is a fear, I fear no homosexual. I feel sorry for them. I pray for them. I do not fear them.

Oh the irony. Your post. It has layers of it!

As for the accuracy of the word.

: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals

Exactly which post are you referring to?
The only place I mentioned homophobia was in reference to "homophobic gurus" who take other people's money, and on that topic I could be very specific about their obsessive homophobia.
A phobia can also be an irrational or exaggerated dislike.
dictionary.cambridge.org...

Otherwise I have seen homophobic posts before, but the mods removed them, especially those that encouraged or celebrated violence against gay people (which in SA is hate speech).

Apart from that I cannot recall calling a single fellow member a homophobe.
So please refresh my memory.

I guess you just implied I'm a pervert and "slow", although you don't know me at all.

How very sad for your society and the way it is heading.
But thankfully there's many other opinions too.

You are very right. Society is headed down a sin ridden perverted sloap. It is so sad that we have come to the point where we start allowing immoral unnatural people to dictate our laws and government. Scary and sad indeed.

It's exactly how it will happen.

Heterosexual people birth homosexual people. It's been this way for a long time. Isn't going to magically stop because some evil homophobic religious regime manages to cage them.

Your opinion is just dandy but the majority of professionals with pertinent experience don't agree with you. No doubt your arrogance grants you the ability to ignore that.

It is spreading like a disease.

Is it. Most seem to think it's at a fairly constant 3-10% of populations. Even the homophobics often support this when they point out how much of a minority and how insignificant they are

He no longer has his job and we will be going to our second court appearance in two weeks to have his credentials removed for good.

So this is about one person. Right?

you and others like you labor under the impression that 1. you are born that way

Oh not much labor involved actually!
To be clear I don't talk about being born that way, I talk about it not being a choice. Assuming that's what you meant instead. I'd say It's obvious. Just like it's obvious for you. You didn't choose, and you don't continually reinforce that decision throughout your life. Also I am bisexual. I didn't choose it. I don't continue to choose it.

You are no longer happy with people accepting your abominous lifestyle, now you insist on recruiting and perverting those around you.

I have lots of heterosexual friends whom I fully accept and appreciate them for who they are.

It must really blow your mind when you meet heterosexual voters that fully support LGBT equality

Not that I think gay people, or any other group, is dictating to a complex society, but I don't see how immoral leaders who believe in unnatural things like virgin births purely on narrative and unprovable personal whims should dictate anything to society.

I don't have an issue with Christians, and most of them don't have a will to a supposedly God-given power and dominion, or defining the lives of other people.
But when I see the scapegoating in some posts ...
It is shocking.

Perhaps the gays are the only ones to really resist so far, but I think if a certain religious type comes to power in the US then homophobia will be the least of their concerns.

to those who point to the animal world and use the supposed
homosexual behavior of an animal.
we do not know the motivation or reason that a male animal will "act" like it is having sexual intercourse with another male animal, so to use that as an explaination of human error is irrational and ignorantly stupid.

and why do we not see lesbian behavior in animals?

what we call homosexual behavior in animals is merely stupidity and confusion on their part, and if it is not stupidity and confusion, then tell me what you do when a dog begins to hump your leg in public?

see you have moral intuition to tell you that this is wrong, my moral intuition tells me that male/male or female/female in the human realm is sinful and wrong for many many reasons.

even if it is gay behavior in an animal, we humans are supposed to be more intelligent than an animal, at least that is what I learned in school and church. if some humans are not more intelligent than an animal, then that explains a lot to me.

also, if it is so natural, then how many of you straight and gay lovers allow a horny dog to continue to hump your leg at your friends party, or at the park in public?

If it is natural, then why not sit back and enjoy the dog humping your leg.

I was in subway the other day ordering my favorite sandwich, and the guy ahead of me got a completely different sandwich from the one I ordered. I got really upset because he didn't get the same sandwich as me even though it didn't affect me at all. I accused him of being distasteful and gross because he did not get the same sandwich as me.

that is what you sound like. Please excuse me if I don't take you seriously.

I will respond to this. If you or anyone else wants to be homosexual that is your business. However when you bring it into the public eye or flaunt it for everyone to see or try and change laws to suit you then you invite public opinion. If you ordered a different sandwich than me I could care less until you start making out with your sandwich in public and have the gall to get upset when people stare and whisper. Or you try and force your sandwich decision onto the rest of the world and try and force them to accept your sandwich. You are the one different, the rest of the world doesn't have to accept crap.

Then maybe it's about time we started cutting down on blatant heterosexual displays in public. Let's not be playing favorites here.

I am 40 years old and have been married for years (I am a man married to a woman) and not once have my wife and I gone to the mall or to Chick Fil A and started making out. There is a time and place for everything and the public eye is not either for that type of behavior. You reason like a child, "if we cant do something then neither can you", "it's not fair", "if you disagree with me then you hate me". Grow up.

Saying you reason like a child is not an attack. I'm trying to get in line with your thought processes and just can't wrap my head around them. I was reading your posts and a few others and was reminded of arguing with my teenage niece. She never ever will take any kind of responsibility for anything, has an excuse for everything, and will turn any argument around on you in a heartbeat. This is a 13 year old girl. That's why I said that.
Back to the topic at hand. I have not seen one legitimate argument on this thread yet for why homosexuality is a natural thing. We already determined that the whole "animals do it" argument is crap and holds no water, and the only other argument I have really seen is about population control. What a crock.
