If you think that's bad, the last administration became International War Criminals when they launched 2 wars against countries that posed no threat (while making their own families rich in the process). Also, the spying you are so worried about was initiated by said war criminals. All a figure head can do in this corrupt political environment is tread water. These decisions which erode democracy are being made by people whose face you will never know. There is no hope unless we can get lobbyist money out of politics.
