5,7 mag earthquake just happen near Greenville, Ca!!!

Just Happen and pretty large on soil since quite some time..

Felt it here in Sacramento.

Haven't felt that in a while!

Yeah I'm a bit north of there in Mt.Shasta, and I felt it here, had the blinds swaying back and forth. Pretty crazy, at least it wasn't from the mountain.

I live in Oroville, and in almost 30 years thats the strongest one i've ever felt. If the epicenter were in San Francisco instead of greenville, people would be freekin out right now. I was pretty freaked but saw it right away on the usgs website. I thought I was going crazy cause I was on ats at the time LOL

A quake of that size Is unusual for the inland areas of the state, especially for Northern California.

My son and Grand daughter are near Shasta Lake! Better call them... I can only pray that was a release of energy and not something leading up to a major.

What do you know of surface quakes?

North of Sac in Yuba City, felt it, thought someone was opening the garage door at first, then felt the "boat wave" feeling.

Yup one that people felt, others they usually don't. Mainly, at 5.7 mag, It's considered moderate but can cause damage.

I knew I felt some weird shaking. I thought I was going crazy because the world felt like it was vibrating. Thankfully everything is alright.
