They're saying as many as 20,000 people could be displaced.

that thing is brutal...

I've never seen a tornado. That would scare the hell out of me! I feel so bad for all the people that have had to suffer through these horrible things!

It's pretty wild. I once saw one pick up a dumpster and throw it through a McDonalds sign, and then crush a Union 76 station ball like a giant invisible hand. It came out of nowhere, we were only in a watch area, not a warning, during a tropical storm (which in FL, means business as usual...a tropical storm or Cat 2 or less hurricane usually means some businesses are still open). It was a really small and quick one. Other than that damage, it blew out some windows and damaged some cars in parking lots, but that's about it. My friend and I were lucky. we were in a parking lot, so huge open area, nothing to get under but a big truck, so we did. (we figured it was the heaviest vehicle, so hardest to lift off of us). It never got too close to us though, but we could hear some debris hit the truck.
