Compassion sets to improve a situation, to better it.

One cannot force compassion upon someone, is it the someone that fuels the compassion within one?

I say God decides when compassion needs to be the cause of ones actions.
God can be the cause of all things, and God knows best.

Halleluja.

Exactly what I've realized. Either compassion is happening or not.

"I should have done this, I should have done that, that would have been the right and compassionate thing"

but it didn't happen, so obsessing over these thoughts will cause suffering about something that can't be changed and already happened (It's like living in Hell).

Complaining and complaining that people "should" be doing this or that will not change the reality.

We can complain all day that someone should be compassion towards "this person" , but is that thought actually doing anything? It didn't help the complainer to fly out and solve the problem...
