I kinda think we are. I feel as right as you guys. Im seeing so much tension its unreal. in everything. economics, war, distrust, false flags, and crap ya know aint right no matter how you discuss it. Its our fault if it does. WE let this happen. Well, bout to fix it i think. I see positivity in this world. We have a mix of all cultures here, they understand. our military has an appreciation for their families safety, They aint dumb. Basically i think....IMO....were teetering on the edge of a razor blade.

If by "quickening" you mean human nature is getting worse as the population keeps growing then I agree.

Morals, civility, integraty, honor, self respect are all nowhere to be found much anymore. What has caused this is someones agenda to bring like minds together only not in a good way. There only doing what humans do when there greed and there need for total control kicks in, they just are the types that don't care about the out come and they seem to be in control of things now a days.

The point being the more you allow people to decay into no self-respect and take no responability for themselves or there actions, in otherwords "take the path of least resistance" you will get total decay of society eventually.

When you run out of things to give people and the money runs out then what do you suppose will happen? I don't think you have to be paranoid to figure that out.......................do ya?

That is not true. I am from a Town Rockford Illinois, where up untill the 80's industry was thriving with good ol American Citizens. then came out sourcing. Yes Mexicans and Asians have taken over allot of manufacturing. I had allot of friends and still do that are in manufacturing. I am guessing by your post, you are pretty young. It doesn't matter who has taken it over at this point, there have always been people willing to do the work right here in the US, and it is Americas fault for letting things like this happen.
As for the quickening, Yes things do seem to have sped up.

S & F, if for no other reason than compiling a decent list to support your theory.

I would point out too, that prolonged research on these topics would most likely give you the feeling of anticipation as most posts Seem to have a "bad news everyone" thread title and a dramatic content.

Science. Did they find the Higgs boson? Are they really considering using human DNA for computer processing? (Cylons maybe?) Feel free to add more to this, as I think we are messing with natural processes that should not be messed with. HAARP, chemtrails, big pharma killing us, etc etc.

The paranormal. Scientists are actually admitting that there may be life forms here with us that we don't see, hear or understand. Wow. On the face it is a fairly benign declaration, but it is a game changer as modern science has never freely admitted that there may be things they just can't understand.

Then finally the general feeling that something is coming, something beyond our grasp.

This video I watched yesterday is frightening and sums up most of the topics you mentioned that I quoted above.
Lastly, there certainly should be things that are out of our grasp, but there are psychopaths who think they can make everything better than Mother Nature has created. Fools!

It's frightening to know that most of the money being spent is going into this type of research and development and Obama is so on board he might as well be captain of the ship, which is going to sink us all.
Sure, there are a few good points to transhumanism, but the bad outweighs the benefits.

Having grown up during the Cold War, I remember the omnipresent Soviet threat. I remember my mother telling me that R.W.R was gonna be the president to finally push the "button"... but that dread of the Cold War was different; more black and white anyway. I never remember feeling like this back then... it's as if the entire world is beginning to run amok...

If you photoshop an eye in the pyramid and remove the globe and add a person covering their right eye it would be a more accurate of the symbols they are enforcing for the new religion. There are many excellent posts here. I am responding to the one that says that greed is responsible. Greed is the genie in the bottle. Properly harnessed it can lead to fantastic technical and social innovations resulting in a higher standard of living for everyone. Greed in the wrong hands can lead to stagnation, corruption and control in a concentrated group. This of course leads to tremendous misallocation and misdirection of economic resources into projects and areas to benefit the few and not the many. As great wealth flows into the hands of a few, they conclude that they are superior and are better able to steer humanity than a collective decision made by the masses. This is where we are today.
A few extremely wealthy people use human greed to control government, industry, media, and religion. Psychopathic personalities do not allow emotions to interfere with decision making. This is why they excel in politics and industry. Mix corruption with psychopathic personalities and you have a perfect recipe for what is wrong with humanity today.
The liberals will argue that moving industry to Asia will equalize living standards for all or humanity. This is simplistic because it ignores the influence of the psychopathic intermediaries (globalists - ie politicans and bankers). The globalists are the epitome of uncontained greed and will siphon off the majority of the wealth leaving crumbs and poverty for the population.
It is tantamount to the young college political science student intellectual embracing communism, trotskyism or whatever other political "ism" exists as more just than capitalism. Instead of creating a society of equals, you inevitably end up with a dictatorship with a tiny extremely wealthy elite and an impoverished majority with few if any rights. The tranquility is punctuated by brutal crackdowns. Political activism is not tolerated. No matter what the system you end up with psychopaths in the ruling class. In non democratic systems in particular there are no checks and balances on the leadership. The rule rather than the exception is a brutal. The college student naively ignores the reality of the human condition to strive to get ahead and the psychopathy of political leadership.
The major problem with the American public today, apart from being lazy and ignorant is their blind trust in their leadership. They cannot comprehend comments from Kissinger like " illegal we can do immediately, unconstitutional takes a little longer. Normal people judge others by their own standards. They naively assume that others share their emotions, compassion, values and morality. The psychopathic mind has no moral compass, no emotions, no regrets and can indulge in criminal and anti social behavior with no regrets whatsoever. They thrive on control over other people and do not waste their time or energy over the collateral damage left behind. When they think of psychopaths, they think of a small outer fringe of mentally defective people like Hannibal Lecter, Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer and others. In reality psychologists estimate that as many as 4% of the population are psychopaths. The poor ones are dressed in orange jump suits but the brightest and best wear Armani suits and are the political, corporate and religious elite.
In an altruistic communist system collective rights would be respected and tolerated and all members would live at the same level. The problem is that in this type of system the individual works for the collective and individual initiative and talent and risk taking has no reward, so it is a society of mediocre advances in technical and social
achievement. The paradigm breaks down when you "A" level workaholic college kid pontificates about the values of socialism. The discussion stays on an intellectual level until you speak about sharing your 4.0 GPA with the party animal in the class cruising along with a C- GPA so you can both have a B- GPA. This is when reality sets in.
There have been few great achievements in a communist system because of the lack of incentives for overachievement. Greed structured to reward people for making positive contributions that benefits humanity is a winning formula for our civilization. Greed without psychopathic guidance , I believe is where we want to be headed.
Psychopathically guided greed without consideration and respect for individual rights, laws, health and safety and well being is a negative force. These people are not about recognition of individual freedom but more about control and collectivism. Their utopia is a neo feudal society with them as wealthy control freaks. The longer they drag out the transition the more likely their criminality will be discovered as the masses awaken. At some point as they near the finish they have to expose themselves; it is a dangerous time for them. This is the reason for the quickening.

Great thread, and thanks for the reading. My take, however unimportant, is what you describe above, describes the whole of every example you gave as to the "quickening."

Bizarre/weird/unexplained noises being hear all across the globe. Several threads here on ATS covered this. Are the noises heard on the east coast a precursor to a massive New Madrid quake? (Such noises were reported prior to the 1800s quakes). What about the same noises being heard in England? Mainland Europe? Asia?

My take on this, and call me crazy as many have. is do we really know, after all, where we are? We accept what we are told, however, we have technology and knowledge that suggests this could be nothing more than a holograph, and not what we think, or where we think we are at all....

The Papacy. For the first time in centuries a pope abdicated his papacy? Was this to usher in the so called "Peter the Roman"? Was Benedict forced to abdicate? Is Pope Frances the real deal as a reformer, or is it for show?

Absolutely. And to me, at least, this if the kernel of truth in your OP.....We know already Einstein and others, not wanting to blame just him, may have been comletely a fulfilled expectation providing a foundation and solidifying a particular system to perpetuate, and science may be the biggest way this is perpetrated. Just my HO.....however, silly or ill informed.

What if, this was a totally nano controlled environment, and we were actually beings that were not naturally plagued by illness or problems at all. What if someone decided that we should all have jobs, and there should be a system of morals and work ethics to "prove our worth." But it wasn't real, because these "problems" physical, mental, whatever they be, were completely introduced so that others had jobs to solve our lower class problems. And then one class, lower, supports the other, the higher.....a caste system....as it were, but all built on subterfuge of who and what we really are and are capable of.......

And science and religion are simply, in this paradigm at least, supportive of that total view, but may not be real whatsoever.....

It seems like we all post threads covering the singular events without regard to the big picture... well boys and girls it seems like the big picture is beginning to develop. I have no idea what is next, but events do seem to be accelerating.

I think that there is a quickening of sorts and that it has been in motion for quite some time. I believe that the elites have been tweaking the socio, political and economic envelope for several decades and that we are in the final moves of a very elaborate contest between a couple of very large power bases. Some evidence I can point to is the currency battles and the pushes for market share and resources. The game hasn't changed much for several thousands of years. As one of the posters stated it centers in how the "greed" factor is manipulated. The stripping of the middle class of their wealth and mobility and the "crisis creation and crisis management" scenarios are very reminiscent of the "Spaniards are going to invade!" scenarios that were milked by the British Royal Crown during the late Tudor period in Elizabethian England in the 16th Century. The Crown went around scaring the devil out of everyone and scoured the countryside for recruits and cash. This just stirred more paranoia and stripped more wealth from the middle class and gentry, which is similar to what we are watching on a much larger scale today. All of the "Al Queda is Coming!" crap is pretty similar if you ask me. Hell, I'm more scared of Congress and President than I am of anybody of any ilk from the Middle East, Asia Minor or Persia. For crying out loud look what these clowns are up to! It's all Kabuki theater if you ask me.
Let me give you an example of just how out of touch some people still are today about 911, I will illustrate how much work we have to do to wake people up. I showed two of my co-workers the different videos of Building 7 going down on 911 5 hours after the Towers dropped. They couldn't believe their eyes when they watched because no one had ever showed them that the building was dropped in a controlled explosion until I showed them today. Both of these guys are college educated and are in their 50's like me and they couldn't believe what I was showing them and they couldn't believe no one they knew had ever explained to them that it was a fix and they were had. We have a lot of work to do people.
Now back to the "Quickening" thing. I may get roasted for some of what I have to say, but so who cares. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, even if they sound nuts. I personally believe that there are several opposing forces besides the human ones vying for control of our lovely planet. Call them Good and Evil if you like, I do because I personally believe they are just that. I believe that they are ancient adversaries and we happen to be a focal point for some of their attention, for reasons I have not completely figured out. Maybe some of that Anunaki stuff isn't just folk lore after all, I'm not sure .But I do believe that many if not all of the global elite are co-opted covertly and unknowingly or maybe some of them are even openly and knowingly cooperating with the less savory of these groups and we are the cannon fodder and always have been. No matter if I 'm right or wrong about this it is plainly obvious that we are all getting taken to the cleaners and being stripped to the bone.
Anyway, back to my original point. I believe that this is not merely a contest for material wealth and planetary dominance, it is more of a spiritual and moral battle for collective soul of mankind. If we fail to defend the honorable and peaceful and ethical path that man needs to follow to really progress, then without a doubt mankind with devolve into a pit of deprivation unknown in any written record. Totally dismissing my personal beliefs of Good and Evil, if we fail to stop this 4% minority of psychopaths from dominating us and they succeed in their efforts mankind will be culled and we will slip into a Dark Age that we may never recover from. Maybe if that happens it will be proof that we are not ready to mature and develop into the great and ascendant beings some of us think we should be striving to become. So this "Quickening" is a test, it's a test of the spiritual and moral fiber we are made of. We get to decide if we are going to take the "path of least resistance" and submit to their schemes or we decide individually to resist and oppose them and educate and liberate ourselves in any little or large way we can. Their desperation is a key to their weakness. They do not and cannot control us all at the same time, they are human, for the most part, and they are prone to weakness and failure just as assuredly as we are, they are fallible, and they are also prone to being too sure of themselves which makes them weak.
If we do not stand up to them we will not deserve help even it were available. I have a hunch that this fight has been going on around us on an etheric level for several years and the desperation that we witness in these horrific mass events is evidence of their frustration and inability to really win the fight. Pray for your enemies and just know that we are not alone in this fight. Peace!

the 80s is were businesses were starting to grow like crazy especially with the advancement in technology. And when those businesses grew there was more opportunity make more money. And that's what happened. the economy was looking up and people didn't want be in factories anymore. So what happens manufactures were having a hard time hiring people. So that's where the Mexicans and Asians came in and worked for less pay to provide for their families. And now that economy is falling, people want to go back to the basics, which is fine. Everyone wants to work, but wait in line because some people beat them to the punch. im 26 by the way.
