I have waited for a while before posting this. I am wondering what is going on. The bottom entry in the list below was the last one for a little over
21 hours. I find it quite odd that an area that was having small quakes at the rate of several per hour at times should suddenly have nothing for that
long. Now there have been 3 more in about 35 minutes followed by another 50 minutes later. This list is current at the time of this reply at Sat Dec
22 17:52:15 UTC 2012 or 2 1/4 minutes past the last entry.
Are they hiding something or did they have en equipment failure? The USGS has been known to bury data in the past, so I don't really know which idea
to buy into.
