Hi

Just got back on to ATS now after the site went down for about 30 mins (perhaps more - I was away from computer for a bit and came back, hit refresh and bang:

"503 Service Unavailable"..........no server is available to handle your request.

Googled its meaning and it suggest you have have been undertaking (routine) maintenance.

Is this the case?

Yep, it seems to have gone down everywhere. I think their servers went down temporarily. Seems to be okay now.

Our hosting provider is having issues with the private network (the local network between servers at the facility). We might be limping along sort of slowly with a workaround until it's fully repaired.

Its been up/down in Oklahoma all morning. I was worried that someone figured out how to hack my cell phone, thank goodness it's not that.
its very frustrating, I start jumping to conclusions, next thing you know, Ive stripped the OS down to nothing but text, and bouncing off proxies just to log in. not being able to connect makes me want that connection even more....

meant and stopped worrying.

Someone in Scottsdale, AZ is scouring the apache (or nginx, iis, whatever web server) log files for more details on the 503 error.

Thank you for clearing that up for us.
Server farms do sometimes need to be restarted.
