Just plain and simple.

Just got to work on the sizing part.

For simple tasks and minor changes, I tend to use Photoscape as a client. While not nearly as versatile as Photoshop or Gimp - it's extremely user friendly and, particularly for resizing, a handy tool!

Oh, and it's free!

Another free, easy to use site is Free Online Image Editor. Try it out- it's easy to figure out even for "technically disadvantaged" people like me!

ENTRY # ........

Notice how optimistic I am about Dec. 21st...
[sarcasm]
Assuming that we'll be able to celebrate New Years....

I'm in!

Just finished getting mine updated for Christmas (and beyond).

Hope everyone likes it. I think Leonardo would be pleased.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Age!

NAM

Edit: Where is it?

It's just the Santa Hat really for the most part, but meaning and context is everything!

So that was entry one (somewhat blah but interesting)

Entry Two

However, any applause if there was one to be given out wouldn't go to me, who requested help with my avatar on Page 15 of the BTS Avatar Creation Thread, but instead to the two people who helped me with it

bigfatfurrytexan, and

74Templar

P.S. The Jupiter/Venus conjunction (from a real photo, then repositioned) represents the Star of Bethlehem, and the background star field actually contains the Zodiac sign of Aquarius, so it's rather appropriate I think for this Christmas of 2012.

WOW

Hands down, that one of the most impressive avatars I have seen on ATS.

Totally 3D & great colours too.

Cool avatar with the holly and asteroid.
Is that meant as a present for earth to get rid of the nasty humans?

kdog- where is your dog? Where is your "snake"?
Are you getting ready for "Doomsday"?

Just a heads up folks...

For the next 24 to 72 hours this thread is likely not likely to see all those magic "Heff stars everything posted" stars, as is the custom. This is in no way a slight against the artists and participants.

It's the doggone Mayans and the mess they've created!

Should we all not be vaporized in a day or three... I will return to catch up on the stars and the pep talks. Until then carry on! Well, unless we should all die or transcend.

NEW RULE REGARDING TRANSCENDENCE! Should we happen to shift to an alternate dimension in the next day. All previous entries will be judged in a new category to be called "two dimensional art" and all post transcendence entries will be judged upon the standard five dimensional aesthetic rules.
