So it is finally being declassified good news! Back in the day the base security team was way over protective.
Nothing there now but a black hole.
34 37' 52.21" N 118 05' 52.51" W

Occasionally civilians including young children would wander onto the base and get detained for several days.
Actually to a young child a highly evolved aircraft is conceptually not that much of a leap. Grandma talked about blue jays and Humming birds.
Why threaten young kids with killing their parents and burying their bones in the desert?
That is how a lot of these abduction stories got started.

Here's an odd one too.

It's a lenticular shaped unmanned air launched missile.

It's amazing how much testing they did on all this.

So much data.

I looked at the schematics and it's not the craft I saw in the early 1960s.

Change the numbers around and project 1794 becomes project 1947! Might as well call it project Roswell!

others might be: MCMXLVII- 1947 or.... MDCCXCIV-1794 ???roman numeral rules ???

i never seen a saucer/disc but in 1959 i did watch a silent 'boomerang'/'flying-wing' glide overhead...the object had 6 lights on each side and a 13th light at the center/nose cone
