A new moon is a time of casting some spells. Spells for increase are done when the moon is waxing. When the moon is waning it is a time to do reducing spells. EG: New moon: Do a spell to heal an illness by working for increased strength. At full moon when the moon will then be waning you do spells to decrease. EG Full Moon Do a spell to lessen an illness or take an illness away. It all depends on what the moon is doing, growing or shrinking.
