IMO the following is very important because it shows that even former NASA scientists are disagreeing with the claims by NASA's director Hansen, and Gavin Schmidt who constantly push the AGW agenda.

"49 former NASA scientists and astronauts sent a letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden last week admonishing the agency for it's role in advocating a high degree of certainty that man-made CO2 is a major cause of climate change while neglecting empirical evidence that calls the theory into question. The group, which includes seven Apollo astronauts and two former directors of NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, are dismayed over the failure of NASA, and specifically the Goddard Institute For Space Studies (GISS), to make an objective assessment of all available scientific data on climate change."

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that NASA and the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) refrain from including unproven remarks in public releases and websites. We believe the claims by NASA and GISS, that man-made carbon dioxide is having a catastrophic impact on global climate change are not substantiated, especially when considering thousands of years of empirical data. With hundreds of well-known climate scientists and tens of thousands of other scientists publicly declaring their disbelief in the catastrophic forecasts, coming particularly from the GISS leadership, it is clear that the science is NOT settled.

The unbridled advocacy of CO2 being the major cause of climate change is unbecoming of NASA’s history of making an objective assessment of all available scientific data prior to making decisions or public statements.

everything released into the earth is natural to the earth. every chemical and "pollution" we release was found on earth to begin with.

it is no threat to the earth as saliva is to you.

plastic is made from materials found on earth, so is a shopping bag and so is gum.

it is just rearranged differently.

the only threat is to us, not the earth.

we have to take care of ourselves first, not the earth, in the same way we protect ourselves with fire detectors, not our house.

our first priority is ourselves and what is dangerous to us. the earth will still go on, regardless of damage.

Thats twelve hundred years or more of science talking If NASA doesnt respond climate change* due to CO2 from us ) really will look like a put up job..........(which it seems to be )

I am kind of confused by this letter, as NASA has released data that disproves global warming. Maybe they should have written this letter last year?

NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth's atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing.

The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.

NASA has many scientists. Many of thems TRY to show the truth about Climate Change, despite the fact that their boss, Hansen, is a green activist who LOVES to publish even wrong data in order to push for his green agenda.

I have posted this in the past. It is a fact that Hansen, and some others would love to hide, but once in a while the REAL scientists in NASA release this information to try to show the public the reality of Climate Change.

That's one of the MANY attempts by NASA scientists to show the truth to the people. but unfortunately they have for the most part failed to convey their message because the mainstream media doens't show this sort of evidence from NASA, or the IPCC, where there are also MANY scientists who have been trying to show the people of the world the truth about Climate Change...

Interesting information. It is good that some scientists are trying to tell the truth. And it does seem like lately, there is not as much of an attempt to try to push the AGW agenda.

Maybe someday, by sharing information, we may just make the whole AGW idea just disappear.
