Wow, 290 million years ago! I am seriously struggling to picture what we would of looked like seeing as that image doesnt show much really.

As for the mermaid sightings there was a show on animal planet- at least a couple threads. Involved scientists, a gov person who claimed they had one.

As for this article..290 M years..sure.. But I'm creationist..so don't buy any of it anyway.

Just because someone says it does not make it so. I haven't seen him popping up at family reunions. I really think they are taking some creative license with the usage of the word ancestor.
