The internet is for losers

While I was surfing the net I stumbled upon this great article about that the internet is filled with losers, and yes, this is true! It starts epic:

I think it is a very true article haha, and if you don;t believe it, well.... Read ATS, it is full of misogynistic losers who dislike anyone who has a better life, more money, better education and what else you can think of...

I disagree. I have only recently started to use the internet. I am good looking,charasmitic,good with women,earn decent cash,well read,intelligent.....I could go on,confident.

I used to envy internet losers. One of my buds is an IT guy. Computer guys used to make me feel inadequate. Like a noob(: But I dont envy you anymore,I can write bbcode now woo hoo! And am learning new stuff all the time C++ before too long. Im still kind of a noob but I will be a power user before long

So I dont envy you guys anymore. Youre not so clever

And its fun to mess around on forum's. Its a valuable exercise and study. I will probably forget it before long but I spend more time on forums than any other form of entertainment of late.

And it does open up the world in a way that you can interact with like minded people. Internet/forum people are cool.

So, if you have a decent job, this article isn't about you. Not all people on ATS are depressed losers but most of them are, and they are trying to get some "good feelings" and "followers" out of it by blaming others for their own caused misery.

I was talking about the author of the article. Did you write it? edit, I see you changed your post. The article is from ´94, different times.

I would think you are a bigger loser if you actually have the time and incentive to really spread pamflets about this at the mall.

I think its you that has the problem. Why are you trying to make these people feel bad? Some people probably are kind of losers here but that isnt their fault. Why are you here?

I think I am here because I am a narcasist. I think Im sooo clever I spend more time re-reading the things I have written than reading stuff from other members.

I think there are many reasons people are here.

I am sensing some schadenfreude from you. Do you take delight in the misery of 'losers'?

And I earn decent cash but in no way would I consider myself 'rich' however that is not what defines me. Many people are quite happy without being rich as long as they can comfortably meet their need's.

I am sensing that you are an unhappy loser that comforts himself with the deluded notion that you are better than someone based on your income. That is sad my friend.

Like the other poster pointed out, it is perfectly clear you are projecting here, making baseless claims and blaming others.

It´s funny that you don´t realize how transparent your motives are......winner.

The internet is full of nearly every demographic of humans. It has various different aspects of commerce, is a hub for sales. Its a place for people to share information on different careers and skill sets. Medicine, horticulture, train spotting.

It allows scientists to get their research in to the pulic domain, sometimes to their detriment, such as the Italian at cern.

Unless al humans are loosers, then the internet isnt for loosers.

If every kind of success of human achievement is given a voice on the internet, as well as its opposite, the senseless ramblings of those who know nothing... then is it not clearly a place for both winners and loosers?

Having said that im pretty sure the article is merely a sardonic tongue in cheek piece, and therefore should be taken lightly. Jokes.

Projecting is something different, but internetloosers always use this term (which they learned on wikipedia) to stigmatise and shut someone up who is right.

Projecting is blaming others for your self caused trouble, for example: when someone loses his job in a time of recession or crisis, it is easy to say that it is a mistake of the government because they are spending to much money on other things instead of spending money on the economy or that they didnt take time to create enough jobs. Or when you can't pay your mortgage-loan or other bills anymore because you lose your job, it is easy to say that those "loan-sharks" or "banksters" tricked you into it while you should known better... But the real reason can also be that that person wasn't a very good employee, and is fired because he or she messed things up at work. But the real truth is always harder to bear than those "it wasn't me" lies, I know that and I bame nobody because it is way to funny to see it happen every time...

Now that is projecting in purest form. What I am doing is laughing, laughing at those who are always wrong here on ATS.

what does it take to draft a post that states that those who use the technology that is used to draft that post in the first place? A super loser perhaps?

#1) YOU are on the internet too.

#2) Just because we are on the internet with all of these types (Except Jesus Freaks, as Jesus does not belong in the mix with all of this other trash), Doesn't mean that we are actually WITH them. I don't get on the internet to be with these people and just because I know somewhere out there these people are on the internet, it doesn't mean that I am actually in a room with them. Under this same reasoning we could say that everyone in the world is an idiot because we all live on the same earth and are essentially in that room together as well. This particular post is for losers, this is true.
