Most Americans -- 67 percent -- are unhappy with the direction of the country. About a third of voters (32 percent) say they are satisfied with the way things are going today.

I wonder why ?

Republican Mitt Romney holds a slim edge over President Obama in a head-to-head matchup, a Fox News poll released Thursday shows. In addition, the poll finds the president’s job rating has dropped to its lowest point of the year.

In a presidential matchup, Romney tops Obama by 46-44 percent if the election were today.

As with every Romney-Obama matchup in the past six months, the race is so tight that it is within the poll’s margin of sampling error. This, however, is only the second time the Fox News poll shows Romney on top. The first time was November 2011, when he was also up by 2 percentage points.

Rombama and obomney are two of a kind. There is no difference between the two. Additionally, 46% and 44% is statistically a "dead heat" given the percentage of error built into most polls.

Maybe that's why the polls are so close !

Fox News is BS, its GARBAGE. They only came out with there own poll BC the Rasmussen poll came out today as well with RON PAUL ONLY beating Obama... Since they prop up Mitt, they had to create BS and lies to make it seem like Romney did well. In the REAL poll, he tied with Obama. If you still get news from the MSM, I feel sorry for you, WAKE UP. RON PAUL IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN RESTORE THIS COUNTRY

This whole fiasco is a sideshow anyways, I think Romney has the edge over Obama because of the slick looks...Romney is a charismatic dude, and is appealing to the cougar demographics...He does trump Obama with that...

That's NOT true. I'm sick of seeing this spread all over the website. Romney wants to drastically cut taxes for the rich, increase the age you can get medicare, social security, make all kinds of spending cuts to programs that help the middle class and the poor.

Not to mention, he supports Ryan's Plan, which would privatize Medicare ALTOGETHER.....yet still run huge deficits.
