I wonder how many more commercials about the 2012 apocalpse we'll have to endure before the year is over?

2012 Chevy Super Bowl Commercials: A man drives his Chevy Silverado through an apocalyptic world predicted by the Mayan calendar. Unfortunately, not everyone makes it to the meeting point

The media just keeps shoving this stuff down the throats of the masses.......

It's not being shoved down the throats of the masses if they've already relaxed their gag reflex towards it.

Most people know about the whole 2012 thing already. It's just a pretty clever commercial, one that will most likely stick out in the myriad of slapstick comedy commercials there are every year during the Super Bowl.

Their best commercial in years by far. Pretty effective marketing.

Also, love the zombieland reference in it too.

Hey if the alternative media can make a pretty penny off of the fearmongering why can't the mainstream media?

You do have a great point. Alternative media has been making some good money from the whole 2012 deal, so it's really not surprising to see these types of commercials....at least it was funny.

That was actually pretty funny.

I see they covered just about everything:

Volcanos
Asteriods
UFO's
Earthquake
Raining frogs

Did I miss anything?

I like it. lol

I was suprised to see the 2012 end of the world on RuPaul the other night. It was great, really hilarious.
They had zombies and Post Apocolypse Couture on the runway.
They called it

RUPOCALYPSE We cracked up and ended up watching it again.

I thought it was a brilliant and funny commercial. Hell, if we can't learn to laugh at this stuff than we might as well just hope for the end.

What is the point of releasing Super Bowl Commercials early ?

Isn't the whole point of paying millions of dollars for the ad space to show your ads at the Super Bowl on Tv during Half time and throughout the game ?

From a marketing standpoint this makes no sense.

I hate when they do that...they do it in movies to where they give away what is about to happen.

ruins the surprise.
