please don't beat me up for asking this...

how do i make an avatar? i read some of the posts with links (one of which gives me an error even though it says to go there). i tried to use the link to upload (where you re-enter your username and password) and it said "sorry for the inconvenience". what am i missing? am i not allowed to have a profile image yet? or am i doing the wrong thing?

lol, i couldnt have said it better, are we that bad???? are we that scary. OP it took me a good year to work out how to make an avatar , im an oldie and that no that comp lit, youll get it mate.

i DID use the search and used the links... one of which is no good. the other was the right one only i messed up because my dimensions weren't right. i've lurked long enough and read enough to know people get sick of answering the same questions.... so i prefaced it and covered my head waiting for someone to get mad

humor is good. i also don't like being beaten up. i'm very petite... i am surprisingly strong (for my size - 5' tall and under 100lbs) but likely easily defeated.

i was wondering this too
