Which meditation is most powerful and brings you connection with God in your opinion?

Read up on some of the volumious literature on Transendental Meditation (TM).
Fair warning: Concepts of God need not be introduced into this (or any) meditation.
In TM (and other meditation techniques), you can contact the bliss of the "at oneness" of the Universe. Any thoughts of a God being responsible are unnecessary and can be counterproductive.

If you can learn to equate religions as a perverted understanding of the bliss of enlightenment and prayer as a perverted substitue (ineffective shortcut) for meditation, you are on your way to an understanding of where things went wrong in human spiritual evolution..
