"Anonymous" hackers threaten drug cartel

The Zetas drug cartel kidnapped one of their members so Anonymous says they will release information about police officers, journalists, taxi drivers and others working with the Zetas unless the member is released.

I'm implying that I believe this to be fiction. The ONLY reason the news thinks somebody was kidnapped is because a youtube video says so.. come on.. YOUTUBE???

It's probably not a kidnapping. It's probably a murder. He's probably hanging from a bridge somewhere with a sign around his neck and his innards hanging out.

Didn't you hear about what they did to people who spoke ill of them on Facebook?

What I described is EXACTLY what they did!!!

IF the Zetas really have an "anonymous" member, which is doubtful, then threatening them with information is next to useless; and I'm deeply sorry for the victim. Most likely he'll be skinned alive or tortured in other unfathomable manners.

North-east Mexico, yes. North-east America, probably no. But I wouldn't go on about them and draw too much attention. No doubt they have ties to other gangs in America.

I think they just grab anyone off the street kill them and say "this is what happens when you talk about us."
