Is Fox News still considered a legitimate news source? No, I'm asking for real.

Answer: Yes

Just ask the White House!

-----------

They tried to marginalize Fox News and failed.
The other networks stood with Fox News. It's all of us or none of us.

The White House folded like a lawn chair.

Okay, nevermind.

Nice try.

Surely you saw the ad on NYCraiglist? Here's a reference to it. It's like the Health Care Lobbyists in D.C. who made money for college while helping Obama pass HealthCare. Now, you can buy democracy.
NY Craigslist article

A Craigslist ad post by the New York’s extreme liberal Working Families Party is apparently looking to hire people for $350 to $650 a week to “fight to hold Wall Street accountable.” The “immediate hires” must be “outgoing, articulate, dedicated, determined,” and “energetic communicators,” the ad says. But “this is not a policy job! Through direct action you will be shaping NY state politics for the next 20 years.” This appears to be another example Astroturfing – liberals paying people to attend the Occupy Wall Street protests. Within the past few days TENAC (Tenants Advocacy Coalition) admitted that the protesters they brought to join the Occupy Wall Street movement were paid for their “work,” while another protester admitted to making $22 an our for full time protesting.

Hahahaha, the NY homeless are going to riot when they find out they got ripped off for a measly $10 and hour while others are getting $22 an hour to protest.

This is golden Hahahahaha.

Someone needs to get down there and inform them, create a bunch of picket signs demanding their $12 an hour more for them, give em some free drugs and caviar dinners and point them in the right direction. That is how this game is played.

They are being paid to demonstrate?

Nancy Pelosi told us it was a grassroots effort.

Liar, liar pants on fire Nancy.

Astroturf! They will go home when it starts snowing.

Actually, you're a bit late on that front....

COURTS - POLITICS Supreme Court Removes Limits on Corporate, Labor Donations to Campaigns

Published January 21, 2010 | FOXNews.com

In a stunning reversal of the nation's federal campaign finance laws, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 Thursday that free-speech rights permit groups like corporations and labor unions to directly spend on political campaigns....

The president said ....

..... the high court had "given a green light to a new stampede of special interest money in our politics." He called it a "major victory" for Wall Street, health insurance companies and other interests which would diminish the influence of Americans who give small donations....

So, ultimately, if there is such a thing going on (I note we still lack names or anything that can be called a substantiated matter of record about the allegation) it seems to pale in comparison with the millions in "political support" that unnamed and unaccountable entities funneled from the very people these protesters are complaining about. Go figure.

Another case of the usual obfuscation of the message with presumed allegations against the messenger... tritely and predictably political strategy... i wonder if we get to know "who" the Craiglist offer (or the money) actually came from... Satan? The Communists? Snydley Whiplash?.... sorry - got a little ridiculous there for a second....

Rumor is the Unions are signing them up as we speak !
(card checks and then a vote ! Labor Board notified !)

They will file grievances and get back pay !

Then Obama can call them "jobs created"

Fox "news" isn't really any more reliable than any of the other lamestream media outlets. They merely pretend to be conservative. However, there WAS a legitimate picture of an "occupier" defecating on a police car, thus the humorous name "Poopstock".

I don't like the exaggerated rhetoric, and like most, am sympathetic to at least some of the complaints behind OWS. However, it would be wise to be concerned about the outcome of large numbers of protestors vs. police in terms of: 1) the well-being of both groups (there are good people on both sides)--considering the likely possibility of troublemakers embedded within BOTH groups, who have unsavory allegiances/motives, aka "provocateurs"; 2) the resulting excuse for the establishment of martial law (see: "OWS Oakland"); and 3) the potential for a Bolshevik-style "revolution" here.

That latter may be less likely in this particular country (one can only hope); but the involvement of far-left groups like the "community-organizing-group-formerly-known-as-ACORN"--is something that everyone should be concerned about. That is to say, it most likely reflects the tip of the iceberg, as far as who's really behind this thing. When the group's list of "13 demands" was published, it became pretty clear who is seeking to turn the energy of this movement to their own benefit. Communism didn't work out too well for the countries in which we've seen it established; I'm guessing it won't work out too well here, either.
