Why would you make the leap to alleging racism when tea partiers talk about ways to curb illegal immigration? Illegal immigration is a problem, would you not agree? It needs to be dealt with. The fact that the overwhelming majority of illegals are hispanic doesn't mean that people who want something done about illegal immigration are racist against hispanics or hate hispanics - it's just a fact of the matter being discussed. Mexican illegals are clearly the single largest problem with illegal immigration in this country, and they get the brightest spotlight.

Sorry if the truth doesn't fit your idea of political correctness, but deal with it. If someone says something like "We need to send all the beaners back to Mexico", then you have an argument for racism.

And since everyone is so uptight and sensitive around here, I'll need to qualify that last statement as an example of racism - I do not condone that type of speech - I just used it as an example. So calm down before you post something stupid.

Most Liberals voted for Obama because he was black.
Most Conservatives bash Obama because he's black.

Both sides are racist and they don't even know it.

It really doesn't matter what you label it. I get a kick out of the fact that I'm constantly told how irrelavent I am. How what I believe is wrong. How what I believe is taken out of context on a daily basis.

If we were so irrelavent, so small, so insignificant, then why would they bother with the daily slander?

For the record, the whole spitting incident was debunked in the media. I don't know about here because I wasn't at ATS then. But this is an example of either willfully using debunked material, or choosing material that is not accurate. The whole incident was drummed up by Pelosi and friends to make the T Party look bad because they were getting traction on protest against the obamacare bill. Nancy had a big hammer, she just needs a sickle to go with it.

Oh, don't worry, if Hillary was elected I would have had plenty of fun with that. She's just as Marxist as Obama. I promise I won't hold it against you. I am very conservative in politics, but I am very Libertarian minded about religion and philosoophy. I believe all the major religions lead home if one takes the straight and narrow path. I was into yoga and meditation my senior year of high school. Later I found the Theosophical Society, and then some New Age stuff and macrobiotics. I've got a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and practiced Shaolin Kung Fu even, then later competitive ballroom dance.
I'm pretty sure I'm not in the little box people here would like to put me in.

They reach for the race card every time they don't have anything to argue back with.

The whole mentality of some liberals astounds me. You would think that saying "we must treat everyone, every person, every race, every religion, etc. equally" would be a positive position. But they seem to want "special" treatment for some. As a general rule, comparing two healthy, mentally sound, non-handicapped people...they should be considered and treated as equals. Sure, there are situations when someone deserves "special" attention (unemployment, illness, etc.). But treating the general populous differently, only divides us...separates us...causes us to dislike, envy, hate, and so on. I guess that must be the goal...keep us fighting and too busy to fix the real problems.
