Were you also the creator of the 8.3.11 game? I noticed that both this and that WHOIS were based in Scottsdale Arizona. Boy, you miss a day, you miss a lot in these threads. Thanks to the person with the recap. But really, is it just a promotion for a television show or a movie coming out? Because it would be cool if the protagonist did his research from this type of thread games.

unfortunately the corruption of my "mind" by wisdom has assuredly let me know, I truly "know" nothing, but I can see how you can speculate as to how my "mind" operates based on inference through text.

It should also be noted, residents of Israel are not eligible for this prizes, as Israeli law prohibits the importation of the Apple Ipad

Hey! Mah brain found a rule for this game!

Citizens of Israel may participate in this game, but ARE NOT eligible for the prize, unless they are not living in Israel, as TheAboveNetwork, LLC is unable to ship the iPAD to Israel, in cooperation and compliance with Israeli Law

I heard a strange remix of the song 'Promises' the other day, which at one point seemed to refer to Long Island, New York, making me think (for some reason) of the Montauk Experiment.

These (odd) things seem to be happening with greater frequency at this time. Anyone else feel 'things' are lining up with that TV show ''The Event''...?

Toroid is something to do with gravity, or electromagnetism, no? Think of the section of that other TV show, LOST, with the character who could resist electromagnetism and kept travelling back in time...

Just joined ATS as the Enigma-amginE game/puzzle really got me going. Would love to get involved. Is there a thread that can bring me up to speed. I study economics and mathematical science and have done loads of web research so I should be a ble to contribute. Look forward to hearing from someone!

Yours Sincerely

The Enigma machine was supposed to be able to cause time travel I think. I don't understand all the physics involved or the cryptic codes one is supposed to decipher. I have to go on what English means...lol.Linguistics are my thing. Remember in the movie Stargate, the expert said they had misinterpreted the meaning of the hieroglyphs?

Yeah, I tried that, too! lol
Actually, I've tried every freaking instance of g.g.f. I could fine (including looking through a set of 1960's encyclopedias
) and trying the letters as numbers.
I keep bouncing between the g.g.f. and the hex dump (there is definitely something there) to kind of give my brain a rest on one or the other.
Nothin', nothin' and more nothin'!
If the dump really was an error, I wish they'd just come out and say so, instead of, "I can't answer that" so I can quit wasting so much time on nothin' if it IS nothin'.

Yes, on page 85. And I have to catch up to speed also. Glad this is an internet game, the clues are all on the internet, which is good.

Here's are the latest Recaps: (updated Sept. 24, 2011)
The OP, InSanE1, found a mysterious ad on ATS. With this image:

Note: THIS is a GAME sponsored by ATS. Here are a few hints given to us by Springer:
1. Only two people are running the game, Skeptic Overlord, and Springer. (/pg46#pid12381609)
2. There is no other staff of ATS posting clues in this game. (/pg45#pid12381530)
3. There are no phone numbers involved. No clues derive to actual phone numbers. (/pg47#pid12382140)
Skeptic Overlord has reduced the 50 post requirement for chat to 10 for the duration of the game. Make ten posts to join the Enigma chatroom on ATS. (/pg66#pid2390742)
8 pages into the thread, we get THIS Motivation? Not really. Most of us contributing love puzzles anyway. The first person to enter the last clue wins. Only one winner here.

Prequel to the Puzzle.(The story is by Skeptic Overlord but from 2003, and any correlations to that story are coincidence.)
The story line so far: (feel free to correct errors!)
In the year 2111, corrections to past are easily achieved, by adjusting the TPE, yet they are experiencing some unperceived consequences. They have assigned 8 differential specialists and 3 mathematicians to our current timeline, of which Kent is one, and he is trying to send Journal entries back to us in this timeline, and needs our help desperately. They are trying to localize the problem in this decade, numbered 137, but are experiencing cascading errors which they believe will lead to the collapse of the Planet Earth.....
Questions you have after reading that? Well, that is what this game is all about.

Cast of Characters: (so far-thanks to stormson and Grower for listing them.)
1. Foster Taylor-Project Leader, Northern, Inc.
2. Parker Richardson-Curator, HCRG.
3. Kent Allison-Differential Specialist.
4. Carl-Kent's teammate.
5. Henry Carter-Kent's boss.
6. Tulaine Obama-Obama's great grandson - Senior member of the Joint Oversight Board of the UTA, and Vice-Chairman of the Enigma-Amgine project committee.
Solved acronyms:
1. TPE-Time Phase Equation.
2. UTA-United Territories Administration.
3. IT-Incorporated Territory.
4. CE-Correction Event. (unverified)
5. AFA-All Feeds Announcement.
6. NR-Network Resource. What they call the "new" internet in 2111.
7: CA-Correction Adjustment.
8. TZ-Toroid Zone.
9. HCRG-Historical Compliance and Research Group.

kaleshchand tells us to follow the twitters for the game HERE. (no Twitter acount needed!)
lynn112 has listed all the tweets from Kent (36 total) in ascending order, (as of 9/22/11 @ 5:15pm EST) in case they disappear, HERE.
LightAssassin has concluded that the error message is a counter that is counting down to Oct 11, 2011. A deadline, perhaps?
TsukiLunar is compiling clues on THIS thread, and dissecting page one HERE. (outdated.)
Marshall Twinie has provided transcripts of all the chat sessions with S.O., HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
Xcalibur254 has compiled all the discovered Journal entries into a single .PDF file, available for viewing online HERE. They are listed in sequential order. We have 9 Journal pages so far, but time is running out.....

Hidden clues from the Journal entries:
"the gates really twinkle"=solved
"the world is run by 147"=solved
"adl irony"=solved
"war time tt0"=solved
"a star story"=solved.

Latest Clue, as of Sept. 24, 2011: (from the Enigma-Amgine site) "g.g.f. conspiracy"

Marshall Twinie also compiled a list of who discovered which Journal entries, for proper credit, HERE.
lynn112 also organized a comprehensive list of how we found the Journal entries, listed with the filenames, (which some think are ALSO clues) HERE. (updated Sept. 24, 2011)

I think it's a good condensed version of all the facts so far. Feel free to u2u any updates or revisions that may be necessary. Good luck, and have fun!

Wait a minute...Kim Delaney gave a speech about Robert Gates. She was escorted off the stage because there was something wrong with her. So she is a star and Gates twinkled. He was the defense secretary under Bush and Obama both. Kim Delaney starred in Army Wives and CSI Miami.

Is this mere coincidence?

Note to EVERYONE linking the recaps in their sig:

They have been re-formatted and updated, so PLEASE change the URL to /pg86#pid12409166. That should be an easy text fix for you. Also add "The LATEST" in the text field, to denote the updates to the latest clues! It may be a day or two before everyone fixes their links, so it's best to differentiate and keep things current.

To those who want to link the recaps in your sig: (newer members)

Go HERE. That is the link to your personal account settings. Scroll down to the section where it displays Your Signature.

Copy and paste this text (from the first bracket to the last): [ url=http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread754911/pg86#pid12409166]The LATEST ReCaps of the Enigma-Amgine Puzzle.[/url ], but take out the spaces after the first bracket and before the last bracket after you paste it.

Submit the changes. You now have an easy link to all the information for easy access and reference, instead of having to dig through pages of info. Feel free to u2u me if you have any questions.

I also found these that relate to GGF that may be of interest, anything that would relate to world betterment since Enigma Amgine is all about going back into time to correct past wrongs for the better of the future. The site mentions a conspiracy, perhaps an organization that exists now is a conspiracy?

Robbie Williams was in Star Stories

www.imdb.com...

Is this a clue? Robbie Williams though I doubt the singer, but someone else with same name, also produced albums for Pink Floyd.

en.wikipedia.org...

Pink Floyd also released Piper at the Gates of Dawn and Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Are the ATS creators Pink Floyd fans? Should I be looking for clues in lyrics too?

Uhm, the chats told us that everything was contained within the Enigma website, ATS, and the Journal pages.

It may not be a password. It may be another hidden journal page. Xcalibur254 suggested the Birther threads, as the "g.g.f. conspiracy" clue maybe related to Tulaine Obama. Also, has anyone noticed that the hidden clues have all been in high profile threads? That narrows thing down, if you think about it. Important clues have been in the popular threads.

BTW, Thanks for joining! Is your mind twisted yet?
