Thats cool, i dont know too much info on the sun but is this a normal occurrence with comets and the sun?and with the way the sun is at the moment, has it got potential to agrivate it in any way?

I consider space.com a dubious source at best. I am familiar with the site's practices. They basically rewrite stories already in the news and put their stamp on them. Space.com is not affiliated with any "real" scientific agency. It mostly exists for advertisements. Many mistake it as a legitimate scientific journal type website. It isn't. It belongs to a group of companies that are basically content mills and nothing more. So when I see a space.com link, I take it with a grain of salt. Thanks for the post OP. I know your heart was in the right spot.

Kreutz sungrazer comets (and thousands of smaller fragments of what is thought to have been a single giant comet in the past) are regularly diving into the Sun. There is nothing unusual about this.
