That brought back some memories right there. Oh yeah.

I found this disturbing, especially when the baby in the background started crying. All I saw in this footage was a little boy bullying his brother, a parent filming proudly, and the same bully pledging his life in order to earn his fathers approval.
Having gone through basic, I know this type of berating is designed to break a person down. It has a purpose in the military, not at home. My daughter may look up to my husband and I, (we're veterans), but there is no way we would allow her to behave this way, even if she was just imitating our job assuming the father is a drill instructor and not a fan of Full Metal Jacket.
