Serious answer: No

My guess is they have a system they type in names of a city and it pops it up. Someone just didn't click the right one is what I'd say.

I doubt that many egomaniacs would be able to get along to pull of that big a ruse

I can somewhat understand the rebels wanting to take control of Libya, but holy cow, they've invaded Lebanon now??? Stop the madness!! And how did they get there so quickly, UFOs?

Yeah, if theres one thing we Americans definitely fail at it's geography. Except for me of course

I will tell you though...for some reason this put a light bulb in my head. Take a look at the positioning of where the US has troops or has active engagements and are in control regionally.

Iraq
Afghanistan
Egypt was just in turmoil and suspicions are that the US is in there already
Saudi Arabia is a strong ally
Kuwait
Turkey is an ally
Now Libia
Next is probably Syria....oh wait..look at what has been happening there
There is a nice little ring around ISRAEL!

Now the question is...Is that ring for protection or something else?

As far as that graphic is concerned... what a mess. Honestly, if the people behind the scenes at CNN don't know where Tripoli is by now, there's no hope. Next thing you know, they'll have Jerusalem situated in Amsterdam.

i am clutching at straws here, but is it possible the reporter is speaking from another tripoli in another country about the conflict in libyia, maybe she caught the wrong plane.
