I realised long ago that Politicians will say anything to further their own agenda. BO has basically failed, yes the others left him with a mess, but he could have put things to rights, but he didn't.

I'm siding with the Republicans.

I agree that spending must be slashed and most importantly, balanced budget legislation put in place.

How irresponsible is it of Obama, who is facing a possible default to simply want to raise the debt ceiling without any promises to try and fix the situation that got the US into this mess in the first place.

I highly endorse the balanced budget legislation and reduced government spending. Imagine what could be done if military spending was cut by even a third?

It is kind of like his 90% of Mexican guns crap.

He thinks that if he just says it in the right way, that everyone will fall in line like good little people.

Well that proves all polls are fake.


Polls wants to us to believe that 1,030 people represent the entire america with a population of 300 million.

I cannot see how they can claim American's back him in these polls. I hear people complaining everywhere I go. Just yesterday alone I heard people talking about this in a public bathroom and also while I was standing in line at a supermarket. I do not believe these polls one bit.

It looks like all he wants to do is to close the many loopholes in the corporate tax code. Like the one that allowed GE to pay zero taxes last year. Cutting the 6 billion in oil subsidies. Sorry but I don't see a problem with that, guess i'm in the 80%. You can't balence the budget on slashing medicare and social security while hedgefund managers pay a 15% tax rate. There should be shared sacrafice by everyone to deal with the debt, thats where those 80% are coming from.
