Just want to share with you.

I think this flick is a year or two after the bombing and we see vast destruction, along with some folks getting on with their lives. Tuff people.



Keep in mind this is a government sponsored film, so...

only some'thing' of pure evil would create such a monsterous weapon and use it on humans.

Wow thankyou so much for this.
I am fascinated with Hiroshima, its so hard to find footage other than the small snippets already released.

Did you notice the 3 kids scavenging had small bald patches?

Awesome footage, and in colour!

In the months after the bomb, survivors wrote statements about strange plants growing rapidly from the ground, like weeds. These plants grew at an astounding rate and quite high.
The people, lacking food cut them up and boiled them as a stew.
Obviously these plants were highly radioactive and deadly, but im surprised to not see any in the film.
