Not a new member but new to posting

I have been using this website for many years as an alternative news source and have just recently got the urge recently to start posting. I hope to add to the somewhat civilized debates that happen on here, and hope that i don't offend anyone too much. I'm also curious if anyone else that has a similar case to mine where you have sat back for years using it as a new source but didn't have the urge to post anything for awhile. Cheers everyone.
