Righting the wrongs of the Disinformation Machine that is the American Media.

I am just one man, and I know that my view is not complete and may be wrong allot of the time, but I do know for certain that the America I was brought up to love seems to be gone, and I feel further attacks are made daily.

I personally feel that if we fought back just here on the internet by actively filling the boards at Fox and others with the truth that we may achieve real change in a short amount of time. I also believe that the manpower and resources to do this is right here on this board.

If you would like to try then please read on.

I am software developer with more than 20 years experience and if we can pool together I will build an app that will notify everyone who participates when action is needed. Or not, lets discuss it.

Here is how I see things.

Please add your own two cents and lets try and form a consensus and strategy of attack.

“Fox may purport to be the voice of the American public, but this is not the case. The Fox agenda has been clear for a long time now.” I think we should let everyone who reads comments know about news that Fox just decided not to air, or real issues that were dragged through the mud.

And you guys know there are thousands of huge, huge news stories that Fox just didn’t carry because it did not fit with their agenda. We should also do our best to unravel and expose these agendas.

Did you know that one of Fox’s largest stock holders is a Saudi prince? Did you know that he has bragged about having shows he didn’t like, canceled? What other control might he have? Do you think people should know about this? That is, If it is indeed factual.

Did you know that the Federal Government tried to shut down Rupert Murdoch (Fox’s Owner) because he not an American citizen and his networks were considered by many to be a threat to democracy? Google it there are millions of hits returned.

My two cents worth:

It is a worldwide recession/depression not just an American problem. There is a big difference friend and we should not allow our way of life to be degraded over this? Nor should we allow Fox and others to use it for political gain.

In times like this countries will intentionally devaluate their currencies often to the point that redenomination is required. Our massive debt is nothing more than an investment in the future both in what is says to the world and for our infrastructure, or so says Obamie on the latter. The dollar is based solely on America’s intent to pay its debts after all. A little reading will show this to be pretty factual, I think. It is a balancing act with the world economy!

Think about it friends. They could drive down gas prices by opening the reserves, but do they? Why would you dump more and more dollars into a weak economy unless you were actively devaluating the dollar? It is just a balancing act with the world economy, and not the end of the world as we know it!

We are only in trouble if we let the speculators think there is trouble! This truth should be confronted on every front possible.

Also I am no socialist, but I do realize that our existing social services are all that garnered the American way of life we hold so dear. We do not keep people out the dirt so to speak because it is the humane thing to do. We do it to ensure a certain standard of living, and this mindset was clearly in play when these systems were adopted. Lets not tolerate attacks upon the American way of life at all! I am not speaking of socialized medical coverage either.

Think about America without the social services for a moment. Shanty towns, unheard of crime. Just look to Lagos or other similar cities! This is our country not Fox’s, MSNBC’s or anyone other than the peoples!

The Patriot act was the single biggest blow in history! As Americans we treasured our privacy and the laws which ensured it for 200 years+!

If you defend America then you must defend the constitution as well.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, SHALL NOT BE VIOLATED. No exceptions friends!

You want to keep the patriot act? Then limit to terrorists or suspected terrorists only!

Google: Patriot act abuses and you will see thousands of incidents! The ACLU has an entire section of their site dedicated to this subject. It’s about righting wrongs, and American values not bowing to terrorists!

If they were really worried about terrorists, they would have stopped the influx of illegal’s years ago. America is no more secure with the patriot act, PERIOD! If it were really about terror it would read as such, and would not grant such broad powers!

This is our country friends and the tides will turn. We are a trusting bunch, but not stupid as some might like to think. A few motivated individuals armed with the truth can turn the tides easily!

I may say a lot about Fox in this post, but I am referring to all biased Media outlets for the most part. This is not about Obama or the yet undecided Puppets which will run in 2012. I will vote for neither!

I am not trying to be some leader guy, I just feel we desperately need change and would like to see everyone on this board dedicated to un biased reporting on all fronts. Maybe to push for American Media outlets to be American owned! We are all connected in some way, and a few can touch many etc!

Hear hear to that! It has moved beyond just turning off your television/radio, because we still have to here it from others that still watch this garb and then regurgitate it as fact Whether it be friends family or co-workers, too many people are filled with these half-ass, biased and incomplete reports.

I am just fed up the biased reporting and the control it exerts over us. Recruit all you can wherever you can and let’s see if we can indeed make a difference online. How should we best aproach things? I have no idea!

Well, that explains it. Was going to ignore it after the first couple of paragraphs anyway as just another Fox News rant.

Be like if you pretended to be "fair and balanced" with a thread that says something like:

I love Israel friend! I only rant about Israel due to a vested interest! It is my place to speak up, and to stand contrary to supremacist rabbinic hate just the same as I would stand against the KKK or skinheads. It stems from a belief that the endemic hate in Israel is just as big of a threat to Israel as Iran or an armed Gaza.

I for one believe that if Israel must live by the sword then Israel will perish by the sword. That said Would I hand power to hurt Israel to Palestinians, NOPE! Would I deny Israel the right to defend the citizens of Israel, NOPE! Would I lockup settlers and others who broke the peace, YEP!

Maybe I am wrong but I think answering terror with terror will just ensure the problem for generations to come. The solution must be with the youth I bet. Right now the youth on both sides are taught to hate and war. Israel does have the capability to change this, but a policy of an eye for an eye is in play.

None of us can change Israeli policy, but we should not be afraid to call a terrorist a terrorist or to condemn those actions worthy of condemnation. And we really are afraid! There is no better way to commit political suicide! Just blanket acceptance of anything Israel may do is no better than calling for an armed Gaza. It is blood lust friend!

Anyone who sees and paints a sky green and fields blue ought to be sterilized! Then maybe we would see peace in a couple generations.

Is this an anti Israeli stance? Absolutely not!!

I for one think that if we need to take out Iran to safeguard Israel then we should do so, but we should not lose our country in the process (A clandestine path that is contrary to long standing American values, is not the correct path for America.) and we should not let it become a war upon Islam.

14 million Jews and 2.1 billion Christians vs 5.1 billion Muslims may not play out the way we would like. It would bring only pestilence and an end to Israel! Those you see around who seem ready to bite the head off of a newborn Muslim are likely just stupid or Muslims looking to smear the world perception of Jews. To stand in their defense anytime you see it is anti Israeli. Those are the only persons I bash!
