UFO's In Maryborough Queensland Australia? Many witness, No pictures(couldn't do it) local paper g

Description of events

I was on my way to my grandmas house at 8pm at night on the 4thoct2009, drove onto the drive way got out to see an object circling the village over the M18 motorway. It was like a ball which looked asthough it was on fire and looked asthough it was dropping hot molten blobs! wierd yes but i dont know how else to describe it. It was bright yellow/orange in colour and my brother and I watched it slowly circle for around 10-15 minutes. Its funny because I ran inside to tell my grandma what i was seeing and she instantly said ive seen it and she had been apparently watching it half an hour before we got there. Then the object began to elevate in height asthough it had some sort of propulsion system and as got higher it turned red.

We both tracked the red object climb in altitude to the point where it looked like a little red dot! then all i can describe it as were multiple random small red dots lit up asthough the object we tracked was being directed to that area by something, and we were right because the lights went out and it presented a disc shaped object which must have been huge becuase it was high up. The disc began to move across the sky over the m18 motorway and almost looked unstable in a wobbly effect as it moved, it dissapeared then re appeared and looked like it was on its side then became flat again. ill describe the disc it almost looked a gun metal grey that seemed to contrast in the nights sky you could see it clearly it didnt shine it looked really blurry!

It went over the motorway and never came back - 5 to 10 minutes later a military helicopter which was a merlin cirlced the village for about a few minutes then went off in the direction where object went.. they must have known something was there ? on radar ?

Its either advanced craft that we have which is under wraps or ET life ... and we are lucky to have seen it i wish i could transfer the images in my brain to video so you could all see what i actually saw that night.. you'd be freaked out!

Thats sound mad dude. Very lucky to have seen it. I wish we could get pictures from our brains as well. Yeah the Army still hasn't answered about it. So I reckon they know something?

Its very strange, you don't post a video and all those debunkers stay away. Maybe the only believable UFO's are the ones not caught on film.

OK it starts off that she was actually seen by witnesses including someone who the Mayor claims is 'level headed' to float out on a beam of light......GOT THAT? And something about her appearing quite a distance away magically

I was wondering if you knew of any sightings at a similar time, mainly around the 25 February near Toowoomba QLD.

I'm just curious as Maryborough is just a little north of Toowoomba.

I don't off the top of my head but will look into it as i have friends in Toowoomba, they might be able to help me with that one.

Was it mentioned that this happened over three nights, so people saw these lights three nights running.

nothing more has been said about this? Has there been any more orange light ufo's around at all. I just think its strange.

I also saw the lights in groups of 1, 2 and 4. As someone that often watches the skies, I was intriqued, until I saw what looked like a black parachute dropping from one.
I will not be holding my breath while waiting for a comment from the local army base.

So there was finally another story in the paper today. I think its an attempt at mis info/disinfo. But you all know by now I'm sus on everyone. The thing that gets me is the two men mentioning lanterns, can get there stories straight. One says orange bags. One arises four days later to claim he has found a black lantern garbage bag.

The problem is is the weather bereau already ruled out chinese lanterns. Maybe they seen something on radar we didn't? Alot of people say that they moved to fast for lanterns tho'.

I like how our paper is going to experiment to see if this could would happen?

I live in the North of the UK. I was putting the rubbish into the bin in the back garden on Sunday 6th March approx 7pm. The moon was at my 7-8 o'clock position as i am looking North. An orange object silently traveled from the Moons position to the 5 o'clock position. I went through the house to the front and watched it travel silently across the sky and then disappear into the distance. Just to my right at the same time. I see a light aircraft with white lights and the aviation lights flashing. I can hear this plane as it passes by.

Last night Monday 7th March. I came home with my wife and daughter at about 8:45pm. Looking towards the Manchester Airport area which is situated at my 6 o'clock position if i am facing North. We see an orange light just hovering there. We watched it for a minute or to then went inside.The airport is about 20 miles away from us. We are in the flight path so we see and hear all sorts planes going over. I hope using the clock as a reference. You can visualise where the objects were. There were no clouds in the sky at all. I will watch again tonight to see if this appears again.

Maybe some one else saw this or at least gives them the idea to watch the skies on cloudless nights like we are seeing at the moment.

Interesting yeah its seems to have gotten real cloudy over here ever since these were in the paper. Every night since the sky has been covered by cloud.

The video would seem to confirm that the sighting was nothing more than a lantern .

I'm on dial up for ten more minutes. Used all my data one day early then normal maybe thats why i couldn't see the vid thanks will lokk again in a minute.

You did read the article, where the shooter of the video, stated that the wind was travelling in the opposite direction, then the lights were travelling. Bit hard for a lantern to travel against the wind. Well thats what i think anyway.

6 days old loads of sightings still no photos .....oh a video but no way to view it

Wind Speed and Direction can be different at different heights , so the direction of the lantern in relation to wind direction on the ground can be different .
