Book of Ezekiel

The King James Bible;

I have read the first few chapters of Genesis in the Bible;

Decided to restart with Ezekiel before going back to Genesis and starting.

One thing that has really intrigued me:

I am aware of Sitchins Theory of Niribu and the Annunaki.

The comparisons between an Alien Race as "God" is stunning. Ezekiel is a prophet and Son of a Daughter[the Jews; Chosen People; of the Gods. [The Annunaki; Demi-gods]

There is a visible connection between everything Ezekiel says, and everything proposed by Sitchin.

The Bible is amazing! I can't believe I have never read it before!

What do you guys think?

When I finish reading the Book of Ezekiel I will publish my complete analysis of the writings.

BTW: I am 17; I am not Christian or Religious at all.

I think it's great that you are reading the Bible from the beginning. Most people will just comment on it without actually reading the book so you will be way ahead of the crowd. Good Luck!

There's a lot to be said for reading the histories first, Kings and/or Chronicles.
The reason is that the prophecies are a reaction to the events. If you want to understand what the prophet is saying, you need to know what he's reacting to.
E.g. the big story at the beginning is that the king of Babylon is besieging Jerusalem. Why is he doing this? It's all in the history.
Ezekiel's comment is that the leaders of Judah partly deserve what they're getting. Why does he say that? It's all in the history.
Nobody would try to read Churchill's speeches through without knowing at least something about World War 2. It's the same here.

What I find to be really cool about this young persons desire to read the Bible is that he is not a believer.... I am curious as to whether his pursuit of knowledge will influence his beliefs.... What I have read in the Old Testament I found to be great reading but it or anything else I have read has made me anything but perhaps less inclined to believe in a supreme deity... I have always it as a story created by people with limited knowledge of the universe, nature or scientific terminology as an interpretation of how they thought the world and mankind came to exist and carried it on from there... Ezekiel is cool because he describes what would have to be a spacecraft in his vision, probably the first recorded sighting at that.

Thanks! Not really from the beginning; I'm reading Ezekiel before going to Genesis and starting. That way I will have a base to relate early Books of the Bible too. [The first five books or so are clear in their relation to multiple God's ect, the rest is not so clear. I want to read about "God" before I read about the Annunaki gods.

I've got to agree with you on that but even for the people that are not believers they should look at the bible as a wonderful peice of art lit great stories great history it's truly a wonderful read.

Check this site out The Chronicles Project as they seem to be analyzing the semitic texts in a more robust manner. I hope they keep producing new information!

Thanks Dave! I have actually looked into the Chronicles Project. The translation of the Bible may differ from the original script but it still carries the same message. Their is a numerical code within the Bible which rules all, textual translation will turn out the same whether it is translated into English, or Self Defining Hebrew.

The world is ruled by the Law of Numbers.

You might be interested in some of David Flynn's work. He wrote, "Temple at the Center of Time." He deals with time and distance in relation to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Here are a couple of his videos.

In response to that question, the project mentioned that they have just completed a program which will speed up their translation. Once a word is translated once, it is put in and renders all of the words with the correct translation at once throughout the whole O.T. This should cut about ten years off the time to do the translation.
