You should go back in Spring when we get rid of some of this damned snow and see what else you might find out there.

It is a Hill Tribe Silver Circle Stamped Coin
These silver coins are made by the Karen Hill Tribe in northern Thailand using traditional tribal methods passed down from generation to generation.

The Symbol in the middle is a Rooster. Note the beak and comb, different claws and hook for feet. Feathers and wings. The 19 circles around the peice are symbols of eggs. Note the off centered yolk. Perhaps a talisman of verility. Note that if it is old, it is quite worn and would have had a more refined look to it. Some parts may even be broken and worn off. The craftsmanship of the center looks native to americas but the spiraled edging is not.
I doubt this is old but it is cool looking. What does the other side look like?
